09/01/2024: I made a reservation over the phone after calling the owner 3 times.
I am H- 15 minutes from the time of my reservation, the restaurant is closed for holidays... It's not for lack of having asked beforehand... I'm disgusted!
Thank you for warning me and thank you for introducing my Japanese friend to Savoyard specialties!
What professionalism!
To follow up on the response in the comments, I had clarified and asked by telephone if it was the Thonon restaurant and I was told that yes, it was indeed this one.
18/12/2023: We were visiting Thonon on December 16, 2023 for the Christmas fairies
We decided to come and eat at this establishment because the menu had inspired us.
Not disappointed with the trip, the dishes are as appetizing on the menu as on the plate, no disappointment!
You can indulge your taste buds!
The servers are super friendly! This is the first year of annual opening for this tavern and I hope they continue!
Go there, it's worth going down to the port, at worst there is the funicular for the less courageous ☺️

28/02/2024: I'm not in the habit of posting negative comments but here.... Extremely long service, despite 2 young children, the pasta is not worthy of an Italian restaurant, clearly I make the same, or even better, carb pasta at home. We waited (hoped) for someone to come and clear up and take our dessert order but with the kids we couldn't afford to wait another hour. We asked for haribo ice cream from the children's takeaway menu when paying the bill, but there was no more! And not a commercial gesture to compensate.... Extremely disappointed...
21/02/2024: I often get takeaway pizzas (I live near the restaurant).
I never forgot the 4 cheese pizza on June 30, 2022 because 1h30 later I gave birth to my son.
I have never been disappointed, always very welcoming and with a smile.

08/05/2024: I have tasted pizzas but this one is extraordinary! The place is warm, fast service, friendly staff! The best pizzas in Thonon! It was excellent.
30/04/2024: Great pizza made with love by a young local. The place is like a village gathering place where people know each other and greet each other. Did I mention that pizza is great?

29/03/2024: A friendly and somewhat trendy place. They have very good beers like red beer or IPA. The only downside is 9 euros for a pint of special beer and the others at the standard price, but I'll say it again, the beer is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice in the city center. I recommend.

30/03/2024: A big thank you to the restaurateur couple for this great time!
Despite our late arrival, we were received with a smile and humor in a great atmosphere!
There were four of us and we respectively took 1 raclette for two and 1 fondue for two!!! The quality and quantity were there!
Raclette: killer!!! This is the first time I've had one this good!
A dessert with homemade whipped cream: a delight!
An address that I keep in mind for my next visits to Thonon!

The staff are lovely, the food is delicious (I've never had fondue so good) and they even finished later to let us enjoy the evening in peace. I recommend and if I come back to Thonon it’s direct to Cousin Michel!!

25/03/2024: We had a great time. Well seasoned steak tartare, accompanied by good fries and a small mixed salad. The salad dressing was particularly good.
It is not only a restaurant but also a pastry shop. We enjoyed a gourmet coffee and a crunchy mandarin, passion fruit.

03/04/2024: Having come by boat to Thonon, I was looking for a place to eat not too expensive near the port. They offer small catering quiches, salads and pastries but also more elaborate cuisine with dishes, all at rather low prices. Possibility to eat here. A certain number of elements, or perhaps all of them, are cooked on site.

20/10/2023: The times are poorly indicated. We came and the restaurant was closed even though on the internet it said open so we are very disappointed by the restaurant and their opening hours.
04/08/2023: Pasta & pizza were OK. However, asking almost €20 for a pizza is excessive. Unfortunately no wood stove. Unfortunately the truffles on the pasta weren't fresh!! The waitress was very friendly. There were a few parking spaces in front of the door
