A simple steak tartare with fries. BUT a divine tartare, a refined experience that awakens the taste buds, unforgettable in its sophistication. And real fries cooked in beef fat, fabulous. Proof that simple ingredients can create a divine memory. Finally, a passionate owner. Thank you for this experience.

Having come to this restaurant to sample local (Savoyard) flavors, we ordered the "Moit-Moit" fondue and we weren't disappointed; it was delicious, and the waiter was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

Excellent restaurant, with a small menu. The dishes were very, very good, 100% homemade! We received a very warm welcome, and we will definitely come back here whenever we are in Thonon ☺️

We've eaten here several times now, and honestly, this place is worth it! The quality and quantity are both excellent! Don't be in a hurry, because delicious food takes time; everything is cooked fresh to order! The menu changes monthly and follows the seasons! You'll never be disappointed at this establishment! And the owner... he's incredibly kind! Thank you, we'll be back again and again!

La Brasserie du General

23/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! Everything is perfect… A warm and welcoming atmosphere, dynamic, professional, and humorous staff, and impeccable cuisine in terms of both quality and variety. I highly recommend it!
21/09/2026: I usually enjoy going to Brasserie du Général, but I hadn't been for a long time and was a little disappointed: the food was plentiful, but the starter was bland, the perch fillets were a bit dry and tasteless, and the peach tart was completely tasteless. The staff weren't very friendly, even though there were only a few tables to manage.

Le Temps d'M

13/09/2026: We had a perfect birthday evening! There was no waiting, we had booked in advance. The welcome, the service, the food, the atmosphere, the table we were given for a romantic evening (plus a dog!), everything delighted us. A lovely evening on the terrace, during which we felt truly happy. A huge thank you to the whole team, you spoiled us, literally and figuratively! 😊
13/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. We ate very well. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return. It's essential to book in advance as it was fully booked.
