24/03/2026: A small, very quiet hotel right in the heart of Barèges. The welcome is warm and the owners are very helpful, even offering suggestions for walks.
The decor is very elegant and the jacuzzi/hammam area is irresistible!
The breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful.
A great place to stay!

19/03/2026: A relaxing place to enjoy a meal after a great day of skiing. The staff is responsive, competent, and very friendly. The food is excellent, and the portions are very generous. You'll have trouble finishing your plate!
The terrace is very large, allowing you to enjoy a drink or a beer in a pleasant atmosphere with music and sunshine on sunny days. The interior is also spacious, making it easy to eat with family or a group, and there's a cozy fireplace for those who get chilly.
If you're looking for a timeless, mountain-style, welcoming, and relaxing place, then this is the place for you.

14/03/2026: A very nice mountain restaurant, the food is good, the interior is cozy and the exterior has two areas: one for eating and one for drinking. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers.

15/03/2026: This family-run hotel offers simple but delicious cuisine. At €40 for half-board, this hotel, with its admittedly dated but clean and functional rooms, offers unbeatable value for money. I've been going there for 30 years and I'm still just as satisfied. The thermal baths are a stone's throw from the hotel, as is the ski bus to the Barèges resort (it runs every 15 minutes). No need to use your car all week.
I sincerely recommend it.
24/02/2026: A friend was told to vacate her room at 10:30 am under the pretext that the next guests had arrived. Normally, a paid room shouldn't be vacated until noon. What's more, they took her as soon as she got out of bed. To console herself, she had breakfast at a café across the street where she was given a warm welcome!

02/04/2026: We were greeted by a waitress behind the bar, and her welcome was appalling. She clearly had no business interacting with customers; we felt more like we were bothering her than anything else. Otherwise, the view of the slopes was lovely. I think if you don't encounter her, the place could be quite nice.
01/03/2026: A very warm welcome. Excellent value for money, whether for hot sandwiches or main dishes. Regional products and fast service. After three lunches, I highly recommend it.
