It's impossible not to fall in love with this verdant haven, soothed by the sound of the stream, nestled in the heart of this protective mountain. How lucky we are to have discovered this magnificent place that allows us to suspend time for a moment. The only risk: not being able to leave.

We booked for June 30th and were completely satisfied with this inn. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes we chose, both in terms of quality (everything homemade) and quantity. We had a charcuterie board to share, a burger, and a steak tartare. The dessert (Pavlova) was very good and light. The owner is very friendly, and the service is efficient. All this in a lovely setting. I absolutely recommend going there. Just so you know, our bill included an aperitif.

The food is hearty, let's not pretend otherwise, but you'll enjoy delicious homemade dishes made with quality ingredients. The welcome is very friendly, the location is quite secluded but well worth the trip.

You'll have trouble finishing your plate! The terrace is very large, allowing you to enjoy a drink or a beer in a pleasant atmosphere with music and sunshine on sunny days. The interior is also spacious, making it easy to eat with family or a group, and there's a cozy fireplace for those who get chilly. If you're looking for a timeless, mountain-style, welcoming, and relaxing place, then this is the place for you.

24/03/2026: A small, very quiet hotel right in the heart of Barèges. The welcome is warm and the owners are very helpful, even offering suggestions for walks. The decor is very elegant and the jacuzzi/hammam area is irresistible! The breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful. A great place to stay!
