We had lunch there today. The setting was enchanting, the welcome charming, and the food generous… what more could you ask for?
We had the perfect egg and the steak tartare, both excellent. The tartare was perfectly prepared and seasoned, as were the side dishes. The attention to detail and the desire to please are evident in both the food and the service!

An excellent place. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves: the dishes were delicious, generous, and very reasonably priced. The service was quick and very friendly. A big thank you also to the gentleman at the bar for his kind advice on hikes in the area with our little one and for providing water for our dogs.
We will definitely be back!

I highly recommend this place steeped in history; I used to come here as a child with my parents. I had lunch here today with my partner. No, really, it's not just good... it's excellent! It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious rib of beef: perfectly cooked, incredibly tender meat, and a very generous portion. To finish, the pavlova was a delight... The welcome and service were excellent. The setting is mountainous: I love it. The future of Louisette is clearly in good hands. Thank you!
As a bonus, and it's free: an incredible view of our magnificent Pic du Midi de Bigorre!

A must-visit near Barèges! From the appetizer to the decadent dessert, you'll be treated to a truly delicious experience. The trout tartare is perfectly seasoned, the shredded lamb shoulder is divine, and the fries are homemade! Genepi crème brûlée, fresh fruit pavlova... it's absolutely amazing! Plus, the mountain views are breathtaking. Plenty of parking, in short, nothing but positive points.

The location, opposite the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, is exceptional, and I couldn't stop admiring the mountain, its rocks, trees, and green meadows throughout the entire meal. The service was friendly and welcoming. And I will always cherish the memory of the frog legs in parsley sauce, one of the house specialties! Thank you so much!
