21/10/2024: A sure bet in Neuilly-sur-Seine. A quality restaurant, where the food is clearly superior to the usual Japanese restaurants. I have been loyal to Fuji San for years, my children love it. I feel a bit like home there, that is priceless.

Menu at 55 euros (starter, main course, dessert) with a good choice and access to the specialty of sweetbreads with foie gras for 6 euros more. It’s good, well prepared, well served, on time. What more could you ask for. Simple wine list, but reasonable prices. Recommended! THANKS

Buena sopa de wontons de gamba (16 €) y el pato de Pekín fue muy decepcionante. 4 pedacitos de piel apenas crujiente por persona, tortitas del tamaño de un dólar que se desmoronaron y un pésimo arroz cantonés mullido. La segunda porción del plato, la carne de pato, estaba tierna pero agobiante por el precio. Tuvimos mucho mejor pato Pekín en otro lugar a una fracción del precio. Claramente Neuilly es caro, siempre lo fue, vivimos allí durante 25 años... pero no hasta este punto. The noise from the dock passes a little but also a welcome draft. Disadvantage of arriving late: accompaniment of the chosen dish is out of stock. No problem, replacement soon after discussion. Starter: even tastier terrines, this certainly exists but this one is very good. And accompanied by its not-so-quick pot of pickles and white onions. Dish (with supplement): tasty salmon tartare. Dessert: the strawberry Pavlova meringue was a little too rubbery and sticky, although there will be nothing left on the plate... Wine list: in addition to bottles, generous glass or carafe with interesting proposals. Waitress with a big smile. Cooking without fuss, without parsimony and without negligence. Knowing less than ten minutes walk from this restaurant at least four others of equivalent quality with different offerings, everyone will make their choice!
