14/09/2024: We had the citizen and the sea bream, which were very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite no knowledge of French.
14/09/2024: We stopped by for a drink on our way to the market. The waitress was so cool that we decided to come back and eat there.
But what an idea we had!
It was exceptional! The Thon suggestion was to die for.
Great beer for fans, good food well made. (“Belgian” fries)
I recommend without hesitation

13/09/2024: Great restaurant with choice and good cocktails, free parking right in front, I tasted the best mojito in the resort. We had soups and a Wok of squid as well as prawns, it was a perfect first experience, pleasant service with funny and smiling waiters and waitresses, we will come back very quickly, the people of Bessan..
13/09/2024: It may be the end of the season, but they really don't feel like it anymore.
The iced coffee didn't taste like anything and the chocolate milk was water with powder.
When I wanted to pay, she said: you already have the bill (she had apparently already placed it on the table with the drink).
I said: “Fine, can I pay by card?”
The response: “yes, what do you think the holiday is? You have to go inside to withdraw.”
Unbelievable such a blunt and indecent response.
UPDATE based on their response: I think this says it all and proves how little decency they have. See their other reactions to people who are dissatisfied and see that they have no respect for people who have taken the trouble to provide them with constructive criticism. They are lucky that there is little competition: in any other place they would already be bankrupt. After 50 years, their restaurant is coming to an end.
DO NOT go there!

30/08/2024: Changement de propriétaire cette année et plutôt déçu. Les moules étaient toutes petites avec peu de sauce à l'intérieur. Quand à la recharge ( pour des moules à volonté), quand l'an dernier on vous amenait une gamelle entière, cette année, ce n'est qu'une demi gamelle!
Quand nous avons redemandé des serviettes, on nous a apporté 4 petits bouts de sopalin au lieu des serviettes dressées sur la table. Pas très professionnel^^
Les frites, bien que surgelées étaient bonnes.
Nous avons été déçu par rapport à nos expériences des années précédentes ou on se regalaient à chaque fois. Nous n'y retournerons plus, c'est bien dommage.
Si vous regardez les avis, ne vous fiez pas à 2023 et avant, c'était les anciens propriétaires.
30/08/2024: Nous avons passé un excellente soirée en famille. L'accueil et le service étaient parfait.
Une mention spéciale pour les moules frites qui étaient excellentes. Une adresse à essayer absolument.

The price was a bit high but overall we had a good time.
Don't do...open wine!

31/08/2024: If you have the choice to eat somewhere else, do so. I bit on a piece of plastic in the salad. My wife's starter was a gratin - so it was supposed to be served hot, but unfortunately it was cold.
The mussels weren't necessarily good either, way too much onions and way too much wine in the sauce.
The dishes were part of a 3 course menu.
However, everything was charged individually in the invoice, which of course would have been far too expensive.
Bankruptcies, bad luck and mishaps.
Completely in contrast to the very good, clean and high quality campsite.
That just doesn't add up.
A total failure, not recommended at all, not worth the money.
20/08/2024: À l’occasion d’un dîner durant notre séjour, nous nous rendons comme chaque année au restaurant du camping.
La carte est identique au Carré Bleu (dans l’enceinte du camping).
ENFIN, je dis bien ENFIN, le restaurant propose des moules!!!
Les plats sont proportionnés correctement et les tarifs correspondent à la prestation proposées, exclusion faite des desserts (à mon sens).
Le service est extrêmement rapide ne laissant même pas la possibilité de terminer nos apéritifs, dommage.
Les réservations ne sont plus possible, c’est un point positif et négatif à la fois. Négatif en ce sens que l’on pouvait s’organiser en fonction de l’heure de réservation, ce qui en famille peut être bien utile, positif car il est désormais possible d’y aller même au dernier moment. En revanche lorsque la réservation n’est plus permise et que le restaurant est plein, il nous est remis un bip pour nous avertir de la disponibilité d’une table (délai moyen 20 minutes).
Concernant le personnel, aimable, serviable et souriant, parfait.
En résumé un expérience positif comme chaque année, avec un changement d’organisation qui peut contraindre l’organisation familiale.
PS : on ne vient pas au restaurant pour manger du pain, mais lorsqu’il est frais ça fait toujours plaisir!
