29/03/2024: Always very good, exotic decor, perfect kitchen

21/03/2024: We stopped in Vichy one evening and wanted Indian cuisine. We found this restaurant where we were the only customers of the evening. Throughout our meal, the couple who ran this restaurant called out loudly to each other, facing each other on each side of the corridor. It was very unpleasant for us and very disturbing. It even took away our appetite! In the end, our bill was also quite high because, while the price of the main dishes is rather reasonable, everything else is expensive and the bill rises very quickly if you order something else. In conclusion, we were very disappointed. Otherwise the taste of the dishes was OK.

24/03/2024: Very good service, very good quality meat and excellent meal. I still give the rating 3 stars because the waiter at the start of the service offers us the badoit and the vittel without offering us the carafe of water, this to encourage us to consume paid water and when serving the other tables They offered carafes of water. I didn't find it very honest at the start of the service. The service and cuisine still remains of high quality.

23/03/2024: A very beautiful place, but it's probably the only decent thing here. First, the masala. I was served recooked shrimp! In fact I received tikka prawns, charred which were put back in the masala sauce! Unthinkable in a restaurant to have a fried dish put back in a sauce. But hey, it was the end of service, why not. Except that the sauce itself was just a simple can of tomato sauce without any vegetables or anything, not even a piece of onion or a poor pepper. A can in short. 😤. Frankly, I am of Indian origin and of all the restaurants I have visited, I have never received such a massacre at the masala. And then we must also specify that for the price of €20, which is already beyond the average price, all this for a poor service...., you are only entitled to a small bowl containing only 4 prawns. Without the rice, which is an extra charge of almost €6... For one person... 😑 And we only learned that at the checkout. Just that for white rice... Very disappointed overall, because the photos looked really superb. 😥 So be warned. I do not recommend this restaurant, there are much better elsewhere... 😬

01/04/2024: Bertrand welcomed us into his general store where we can find all his history and passion. What authenticity, and what love shared. Thank you for this delicious moment in this place as endearing as it is atypical. We will be back very soon Alexander

18/01/2024: Having worked in retail around the world this store and cafe is clearly a treasure standing out. You will find this very unique place nestled in a few hundred years old clay building, between the Source des Célestins and the Casino, not even 500 m from down town. You'll find a wonderful selection of hot chocolates, teas, soups, juices, and lots of other high quality delicacies, at very reasonable prices. In fact Bertrand modelled his store after the Canadian General Stores. And true, this place does have a little bit of everything, but its true strength is probably the dedication to create a perfect serving. Top quality food, made with dedication and love, a special designed serving makes every cup or dish a very unique experience. Important when you come, bring lots of time to indulge. Not only will you have to study an unbelievable menu, but also want to enjoy the decor all around the store & cafe.
