Le Maharaja
Mulhouse
26/03/2026: A culinary journey to the heart of India! We had a wonderful time at Maharaja. The decor is immersive and the spices are perfectly balanced. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The staff is attentive and offers excellent advice. A must-visit for Indian food lovers!
22/03/2026: Best Indian restaurant in Mulhouse! A very warm welcome, refined and generous dishes.
Highly recommended!

13/04/2026: I wanted to try this Indian restaurant, much to my regret! The lamb had a very unpleasant texture (undercooked and very difficult to chew). We had to repeat our order several times. I specifically ordered a Diet Coke, but I received a regular one (less bad than the undercooked meat), and the servers were incredibly indifferent. It didn't leave me with a good impression. For me, it's the first and last time I'll ever eat at this restaurant.
11/04/2026: A great little restaurant with a very calm and relaxed atmosphere. We highly recommend it if you're looking for good food!
The staff were very friendly.

Taj Mahal
Mulhouse
19/12/2025: A reasonably priced Indian restaurant with good, hearty food. Located at the entrance to Mulhouse city center, it's ideal before heading to the Christmas market or exploring the city center.
17/12/2025: Dinner tonight, a very good time, quick and friendly service, a truly wonderful experience, incredible flavors, I highly recommend you go

Maison de l'Inde
Saint-Louis
24/02/2026: Excellent meal, lovely staff and reasonable price, I highly recommend it
30/01/2026: I've been going to this restaurant at least once a month for the past few years, sometimes every week, because it's always like visiting friends—you feel so comfortable and relaxed.
The owner, Yann, and his family are lovely.
The dishes are only spicy if you ask for it. There's a wide variety of choices. My favorites are the mint lassi, the salmon tikka, the Kashmiri rice (with raisins), and the semolina and coconut dessert, "kesari."
The recently renovated decor is superb and exotic.
It's best to make a reservation, but there's usually a way to get a table. 🙂
Maison de l'Inde, the restaurant you absolutely must go to in Saint Louis.

Maharaja
Colmar
22/01/2026: No risk of repeating - food tasted bad at all, dirty atmosphere (including the bathroom).
16/01/2026: Oh God—where do I even begin? This place isn’t worth even one star. Even if you’re starving, don’t go here.
The food quality was absolutely terrible. I’ve been to more than 100 Indian restaurants across over 25 countries, including India itself, and without a doubt this is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever visited. I honestly don’t know who is cooking here.
The biryani was completely tasteless, and the rice tasted old and smelled unpleasant. The naan—well, I have no idea what that was. It certainly wasn’t naan.
The service was just as bad. The lady serving us kept coming to the table just to adjust the tablecloth, which made the whole experience awkward and uncomfortable.
They really need to learn how to cook before opening a restaurant.
