07/02/2026: Coming from Bordeaux and passing through Lille, we headed to this restaurant after seeing very positive reviews here. What a delight! Generous portions of delicious, homemade dishes, impeccable service, and the owner's kindness and passion for cooking! Don't hesitate to visit this little restaurant; it's a gem!

09/03/2026: A very good experience last night at this restaurant! The all-you-can-eat buffet is excellent, with a good selection of dishes. Everything is well-presented and regularly replenished. The restaurant is also very clean, which is always appreciated.
The servers are warm and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. We had the opportunity to chat with them briefly and learned that it's a family-run business. This is evident in the atmosphere and the attention given to customers, and it truly adds value to the experience.
I highly recommend this place!

07/03/2026: The best vindaloo I know. The garlic and cheese naans are to die for. The prices are reasonable. The welcome is warm, and the owner is lovely. It's my go-to spot!!
The only downside is that it's closed on Wednesdays 😂

18/03/2026: Two reservations confirmed and then cancelled at the last minute by the restaurant, without explanation, without even bothering to call... This happened just a few days apart. All I received was an automated email that I could have easily missed! So much for customer service...
05/03/2026: A flawless experience from start to finish! La Route des Indes offers a true culinary escape. The meats are tender, the sauces perfectly flavored, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. The decor is elegant and the atmosphere very pleasant, perfect for a relaxing meal. Special mention to the waiter who was incredibly friendly and attentive! I highly recommend it.

28/09/2025: Momo and it fell very low at the time of his restaurant at Minck it was number 1 in Dunkirk. Without discussion since then, who opened and closed several restaurants, we no longer find the quality of the time.
Rice reheated in the microwave
The sauce reheated in the microwave + cut with water to gain quantity. In the end, the taste is not that at all. Frankly, very, very disappointed between tikka masala and tikka madras it's the same sauce. I would come back to eat at your place, out of the question to be robbed like this. You deserve 0, not even 1 star.😡😡
15/09/2025: During a trip to Dunkirk, I wanted to try this downtown restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience quickly turned uncomfortable. The manager's attitude was very insistent, a sort of "heavy flirting" that was completely out of place in a professional setting. Instead of feeling welcomed, one felt destabilized and uncomfortable. Especially since her broken French made her remarks even more awkward, accentuating the impression of sloppy and inappropriate behavior.
Service-wise, the atmosphere was not up to scratch: the staff were unfriendly and lacked warmth. And the food, supposedly the strong point, turned out to be well below expectations: average dishes, not particularly tasty, and, above all, disappointing value for money.
In short: a restaurant that would benefit from focusing on culinary quality and customer respect rather than heavy-handed and unwelcome seduction.

19/08/2024: EXCELLENT. 4 people came this evening and really not disappointed. Pleasant and very friendly service and we had a great time. For my part a BIRYANI chicken lamb shrimp and NAN with garlic humm!! so good. We're not from here but we'll come back. I recommend it to you. It's a shame I didn't take a photo otherwise I would have added it. THANK YOU
