29/08/2026: We were out of luck. There were hardly any customers, and that is always a bad sign. Perhaps because they are closing for two weeks this coming Monday for vacation. The food was quite cold, tasteless, and really cold spaghetti with the occasional small, hard piece stuck to it is not tasty. And the red beans came from a can.
28/08/2026: We had dinner there while passing through during our vacation. The welcome and service were top-notch. The food was excellent; I recommend it 100%. We will definitely return.

Auberge La Douce Montagne

07/04/2026: We spent 3 nights in this lovely Auberge. Fantastic location for access to Alp D' Huez plus great ski touring up to the many Cols and hills in the area.
Staff were lovely and really friendly. Food was great and suited our taste for simple but nourishing fare. They also catered well for Gluten- Free when I asked about it.
We loved our stay here and will certainly remember it for future visits to the area.
30/03/2026: We had booked a group meal. The communication regarding the organization beforehand was very responsive and took everyone's individual needs into account. The menu selection, including drinks, allowed everyone to find a meal that suited them at a very reasonable price.
We had a wonderful time: the welcome, the service, and the option to stay part of the afternoon for those who didn't want to wander around... I highly recommend it!

12/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, we appreciated the quality of the generous dishes made with local produce, the friendliness of the staff, and we appreciated the permission to bring our dog in. We will definitely be back.
04/09/2026: Kitchen nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Low-quality food, tasteless canned tartiflette. Disastrous staff… I will never return. Good luck to future customers.

11/08/2024: Contrairement aux avis précedents, nous avons vraiment aimé ce resto pour y etre venu 4 fois.
La cuisine est excellente, le service est peut etre compliqué qqs fois car bcp d'affluence certainement mais avec le sourire et très agréable. Mention + + pr la patronne qui est top. Un super resto pr passer un bon moment ds un cadre super sympa. Je recommande et nous y reviendrons avec grd plaisir.

25/08/2024: Ne vous fiez pas au bâtiment années 60-70 un peu délabré, ce sympathique restaurant vaut le détour, excellentes gaufres déclinées sous formes de plats salés ou dessert. Bon accueil de surcroît. Je recommande.
19/08/2024: Avions réservé pour être un intérieur, déco soignée. Accueil chaleureux. Avons choisi burger ail des ours, gaufre estivale et sa boule de glace poivron et gaufre chèvre chaud et sa boule de glace au chèvre. Tout le monde a apprécié son choix et terminé son assiette copieuse.
En dessert cookie groovy, gaufre au miel , glace au thym et glace au noix. De belles découvertes gustatives et pour terminer un petit génépi maison !!
Les glaces sont surprenantes et délicieuses.
Contrairement aux avis précédents nous n avons pas du patienter trop longtemps pour être pris en charge et servis.
