If you're passing through Allemond or Alpe d'Huez, you absolutely must make a detour to eat here. Everything is homemade and delicious, and the service is friendly and quick. What more could you ask for? We love it! 🤩

First meal in Allemond, and it didn't disappoint. Had the boeuf bourguignon 'burger' which was great, nice with a different take on a burger. Super good service, food came fast, and owners was super kind and welcoming. Will for sure be back!

Auberge La Douce Montagne

07/04/2026: We spent 3 nights in this lovely Auberge. Fantastic location for access to Alp D' Huez plus great ski touring up to the many Cols and hills in the area. Staff were lovely and really friendly. Food was great and suited our taste for simple but nourishing fare. They also catered well for Gluten- Free when I asked about it. We loved our stay here and will certainly remember it for future visits to the area.
30/03/2026: We had booked a group meal. The communication regarding the organization beforehand was very responsive and took everyone's individual needs into account. The menu selection, including drinks, allowed everyone to find a meal that suited them at a very reasonable price. We had a wonderful time: the welcome, the service, and the option to stay part of the afternoon for those who didn't want to wander around... I highly recommend it!

11/06/2026: Very nice. A real marmot cabin vibe... the owners are cool. The fridge broke down so there wasn't much food left, but they managed...
