The menu displayed by the roadside drew us to this restaurant; we had a wonderful meal, and so did the children. A place to remember for a meal when you're in the area!

For years, whenever we're in the area, we've come here to eat. We're always warmly welcomed. The pizzas are good and generous (almost too much!). We'll keep coming back, because this restaurant is a sure thing!

Auberge La Douce Montagne

07/04/2026: We spent 3 nights in this lovely Auberge. Fantastic location for access to Alp D' Huez plus great ski touring up to the many Cols and hills in the area. Staff were lovely and really friendly. Food was great and suited our taste for simple but nourishing fare. They also catered well for Gluten- Free when I asked about it. We loved our stay here and will certainly remember it for future visits to the area.
30/03/2026: We had booked a group meal. The communication regarding the organization beforehand was very responsive and took everyone's individual needs into account. The menu selection, including drinks, allowed everyone to find a meal that suited them at a very reasonable price. We had a wonderful time: the welcome, the service, and the option to stay part of the afternoon for those who didn't want to wander around... I highly recommend it!

28/08/2026: We had dinner there while passing through during our vacation. The welcome and service were top-notch. The food was excellent; I recommend it 100%. We will definitely return.
20/08/2026: Go out to eat at a restaurant with a group of eleven Dutch people. If all eleven of them can only express themselves in superlatives, then restaurant Qu'est ce qu'on Mange is doing something truly right. The owners radiate joy, the food is served with a smile, and every single dish is delicious. They work here with love and passion. If you are in the area: don't hesitate for a second and go eat here. It is a treat for the taste buds. People at Qu'est ce qu'on Mange: you are amazing. Thank you for the delicious food and your cheerful faces.
