20/03/2024: TO AVOID! I reserved a night 8 days before, specifying that if the room was not paid for by my company as it promised by email, I would pay the bill. In the evening after dinner, while I was in a video work meeting, the manager came and knocked on my door 3 times to ask me to pay. I told him I was taken. She came back again allowing herself to enter the room! Then 5 times, she called me, interrupting my meeting and I hung up. At 10 p.m., meeting over, I go to reception to pay (which is normally done in the morning). The boss dared to yell at me first, then insulted me. Stunning! In 40 years of frequent hotel experience (am a salesperson), I have never seen such thug behavior!! A PLACE TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID!! ___________ NB: hell of a nerve in the response below from the owner. I told him and even wrote (!) that I will pay if not done by my company. He is indecent having been disturbed X number of times (including by entering the room!) while I was in a meeting, the participants asked who was doing this. At the end of the meeting, as requested, I went to pay. I protested (correctly) against this process. And that's when I saw the unfiltered manager scolding me afterward, speaking informally and threatening me, showing that he risked becoming violent. I noticed the embarrassed look on Madame's face at her behavior. Having at my age hundreds of hotels under my belt where the welcome is always friendly, I cannot leave this unanswered and am considering action with the hotel union or elsewhere. Under no circumstances do I want to have any more relationships with such a character.
