04/04/2024: Too crowded in summer. Came in April and there.... surprise.... what a marvel!! We eat well, we take care of ourselves, we look after you even to change the carafe of water that has warmed up in the sun. Yes, the weather is nice here already in April!!!
We will come back to taste the rest of the menu which is tempting until the end.

02/04/2024: Excellent welcome and service, we had a great time. Little extra, the digestive was offered to us at the end of the meal. Flawless! I recommend without hesitation.

20/03/2024: Raw vegetables starter: endive leaves served without removing the damaged surroundings. It's a salad with a few sprigs of carrots and red cabbage.
Dish: andouillette with just warm mashed potatoes.
Fresh cheese with red fruit coulis: very good. Best dish on the menu.
Conclusion: meal not up to the level of the master chef announced.

02/09/2023: We visited the place during the Mexican holidays, it is a place to visit to learn more about the cultural and ancient links between the region and Mexico. The place and surroundings are very pleasant. Sometimes the starting point for mariachis during parties.

01/04/2024: The cuisine is always as good as in the city center restaurant. In addition, the staff is very pleasant.
In terms of service, I think there was a bit of a lack of polish for this Easter weekend, in fact with a starter the main course for the suite had been skipped and the desserts arrived in three courses.
Despite this, it is a very good place for a very good meal.

02/04/2024: Delicious vegetarian burger and very creamy carbonara from the parmesan wheel. Afterwards there was Café Gourmand. Everything was really good, in a nice atmosphere and with very attentive service. We also bought a Le Creuset roaster - you can buy everything you want here used.

07/10/2023: Food waiting time was fairly long. One waitress was friendly, the other one not at all / also not very attentive. Food eventually was okayish at best - not really among the best Italian restaurant. But also not terrible.

12/03/2024: To avoid disrespectful and selective staff we are present with my husband and our children the boss or the employee is rushed to receive us at the front door we asked for 5 places he immediately replied his same look or trying to check the room that it was full outside 30 min we went by and there were only 3 tables taken the gentleman rushed to quickly limit the discussions and hastened to close the front door well sad that people of this type can exercise a profession such as catering, no professionalism, he didn't even try to make us wait or to apologize, in short, the r…. has no borders

The sunny terrace is a real plus after a good walk to unwind.
Comfortable dormitory bed, good and hearty meals in a friendly atmosphere with other hikers.
The next day breakfast was good too.
The hosts gave us advice on hiking and we had a great picnic: lentil salad, cheese, bread, pompot and cereal bar.
03/04/2024: Perched on the heights at the epicenter of the Gorges du Verdon, this FFCAM refuge is conveniently located on the crest route, at the convergence of the Blanc-Martel, Bastidon and Imbut trails. It allows you to stop for a snack, a night or more.
The dinners are generous, refined, varied and adapted to diets.
For those used to shelters, this one is more like a hostel, in terms of its comfort and ease of access.
Beyond the panorama, the comfort and the gastronomy, I would especially like to highlight the particularly warm and generous welcome, as well as the wise advice from the caretakers!
