We loved it. We arrived late so it was takeaway but it was good!
Except for the lady in the kitchen behind the cash register who didn't crack a smile and her beautiful eyes staring at us were almost scary lol

refined and delicious dishes.

We chose to eat there because they have a wood-fired oven, which is usually a basic guarantee of pizza quality, but our pizza bases were soft, doughy and under-cooked, so the topping soaked into the dough creating a sloppy mess that made pizza inedible. This was doubly unfortunate because they used good quality flour and good quality fresh ingredients that were spoiled by the badly cooked base.
As a bit of a pizza purist, I'd been hoping for nothing more elaborate than a basic well-made Napolitaine with black olives and anchovies. Unfotunately nothing so simple was available, so we had to opt for something more elaborate, whose topping, rather surprisingly was mixed with slightly warmlettuce and mache.
They really need to keep it simple and master the basics before attempting more fanciful variations on classic pizza. Our bill came to 45€ for two inedible pizzas and a half bottle pichet of pinot.
Finally, later in the evening had indigestion of the sort that I associate with eating bread from bakery chains that use rising agents rather than proper sourdough.

13/08/2024: This small Italian restaurant-grocery store serves delicious dishes for excellent value for money (main course and dessert menu for 13 or 15 euros). We had a blast! The service is very pleasant and you can buy fresh deli products and Italian groceries on site.

Very warm welcome and service.
Very decent portions and quality at a low price.

02/09/2023: J’ai testé le kiosque à pizzas par hasard et je ne regrette pas. Les produits sont frais et de région. Les pizzas étaient délicieuses et le jeune garçon très gentil et rapide! Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Very good meal, excellent beef skewer and gourmet salad. All washed down with an excellent Cahors.
More than special mention for the service: it has been a long time since we have encountered such a professional and efficient server, both for advice and for service.
Compliments to the chef and well done Mr Pascal 😊
22/08/2024: Alors si vous aimez les pièges à touristes ou si vous êtes amoureux de la serveuse vous êtes au bon endroit… disons que les pizzas sont cher et pas terrible. Pour ce qui est du filet mignon à 20 balles il n’y ni la quantité ni la qualité idem pour les pseudos frittes qui l’accompagnent. Et pour finir quand vous passerez en caisse n’attendez pas de pouvoir écouler votre cagnotte de titre restaurant! Et si vous payez en CB n’attendez pas vous faire copain avec le patron qui estime se faire trousser par les banques… bref pour ma part c’était la première et sera la dernière !

It has changed a lot
When you don't answer the phone, it's complicated to deliver, am I in bad faith? Are you making fun of me anymore?
I wanted information about your menus, you answered me bluntly, I don't have time, I have pizzas to make, look on Google, I answered on Google, the menu is too vague and borderline, you're going to hang up on me so I said forget it and hung up on my own
So who is in bad faith? Not me but you

18/09/2024: Nous mangeons souvent des pizzas mais nous sommes difficiles c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que c'est moi qui les fait...mais là nous étions à l'hôtel nous avons commandé des pizzas et c'est le choc tellement qu'elles étaient délicieuses....parfaites et livraison hyper rapide, le sourire évident du patron au téléphone bref je ne mets jamais de commentaires mais là je prends quelques minutes bien mérité pour ce cuisto qui fait des pizzas et calzones à tomber à la renverse....on en parle encore...c'était en août 2024...bravo monsieur et encore merci

En bref, un beau moment, partagé sur une très jolie place de Cahors, autour de pizzas authentiques d'exception.
