13/12/2024: Despite a relatively empty and quiet restaurant (no more than twenty seats), the service is very long. We warned that we were in a hurry, on a lunch break. More than an hour to have 5 pizzas and 2 plates of pasta... Indicated on the menu the possibility of exchanging coffee for tea in the lunch formula, but orally, no. Indicated by the waitress that the Romano pizza is available on the menu, and once consumed, it becomes à la carte and therefore off the lunch menu. Please keep your word and consider your customers. Condescension from the staff, lack of professionalism, slow service, for a restaurant close to an activity zone, it's a shame not to be able to ensure 20 seats at lunchtime. Overcooked pizza (black underneath) and raw egg, raw whites on the pizza. After tasting the (correct) dishes, we give up desserts and coffee, due to lack of time. we accept takeaway desserts. Seen with the waitress a commercial gesture. Desserts offered. BUT lunch options are paid for in full (so no dessert offered and coffee paid for but not consumed). Discount yes, but not for everyone. Once the bill was paid, the manager refused to give us the desserts that were to be offered because they had not been paid for. We're walking on our heads! You should question yourself and change careers at this stage. No consideration for customers, condescension, no sense of business, and unprecedented slowness of work. I don't recommend.
13/12/2024: The Cala Luna restaurant offers tasty cuisine in a pleasant setting, which makes the dining experience pleasant. Unfortunately, our evening was marred by a questionable business practice.
During our visit at 7:30 p.m., we ordered cocktails included in happy hour (advertised between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.). However, on the bill, we were charged the full price. When we pointed out this error to the waitress, she replied that to benefit from the offer, you had to explicitly ask for it when ordering — a condition that was not mentioned anywhere.
The most disturbing thing is that, according to her own statements, this instruction was given to her by management, although she recognized that this practice was not in compliance with regulations. This situation is unfortunate, as it could be seen as a deliberate attempt to mislead customers.
We hope that this policy will be quickly corrected to respect the rules of transparency and not tarnish the image of a restaurant which, moreover, offers good quality dishes.
