27/05/2026: You might ask, "Why would I dine at a Japanese restaurant when visiting Vernon?" In our case, we enjoy French food, but need a break now and then. We discovered Fujiyama while exploring Vernon, before our visit to nearby Giverny. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The sushi, sashimi and rolls offered in their "Love Boat" offering for two was fresh, fabulous and extremely reasonable by US standards. We even got a bottle of decent French white wine for 15 Euros.The other options on the menu looked awesome, too. Be aware that this is not a fancy place by any means. There is comfortable seating and the service was fine. However, the vast majority of their business is take-out, with a steady stream of locals, who seem to know a great deal when they see one.

19/04/2026: Everything is absolutely perfect except for the school cafeteria atmosphere when the restaurant is full. I'll never understand why people speak so loudly; there's no class, no manners.

12/04/2026: The best in Evreux for me. The products are fresh, the tablet and self-service ordering system is great, and the prices are reasonable—I love it. I highly recommend this restaurant; the staff is responsive, helpful, and very friendly.
