01/03/2024: The cuisine is good although it has declined a little in the two years since we last went there. Tempuras that are too thick and a little greasy and poorly assembled sushi that fall apart when set. A big minus for the service: we waited forty minutes for our dishes.
The reason seems to be that they place “to-go” orders before restaurant customers. Well, not serious work.

06/01/2024: We were there on a day when there were few people. So the atmosphere was not necessarily there. lThe service was quite pleasant. Concerning the cuisine it was quite special because spicy for sushi is not usual, however quite good.

27/03/2024: The best Japanese in Paris. Diversity of fish freshness. Real Japanese cuisine (he makes sushi, sashimi, maki and other raw fish specialties. Warm welcome. Be careful, he is known in the neighborhood. Reservations are required. I go there as often as possible.
Update: I'm worried... I heard a pompous person waxing the pumps of a coating suggesting that things had changed quite a bit and I didn't see the usual owner... Obviously, a cook would have gone... And it's true that I was surprised by 2.3 things that were less good than usual: the ankimo sauce, the miso soup, the coleslaw??!? (we were accustomed to a delicious little seaweed salad combo which made the difference) but more importantly, on the royal sashimi a less careful cutting, less highlighted flavors and a less ambitious assortment of fish...
No, honestly, I'm worried... To be monitored over time but if the doubts are confirmed, it really sucks... You'd have to go see gourmet sushi if it's not just the market antenna... In short, some work in perspective... Or disappointments :(

05/03/2024: Order at c. 100 euros for 2 people. 45 minutes late. Much overcooked rice that tastes rancid (probably not cooked that day). Forgot the wasabi (for a sushi brand). Not available on the phone for customer support. Last Time. To flee.
