26/06/2026: A Japanese restaurant that markets itself as traditional and does indeed offer fairly traditional dishes, but unfortunately, they're not well executed. The eel is okay. The salmon too. The temaki and maki are a disaster. Add to that the incredibly slow and disorganized service... It's definitely not up to scratch.

19/06/2026: Great experience but a few things missing to make it a 5/5 for the price tag. I came to Komatrubaki for dinner with a reservation which I highly recommend doing as I believe it is necessary. The restaurant has two floors with the bathroom being on the first and main dining area on the second. The dining area was clean, well decorated and welcoming but the bathroom on the other hand was surprisingly dirty in comparison, with toilet paper on the floor and an empty soap container. When we came in, everyone was seated at the bar. The chef and sous-chef were preparing their mise en place. A few positive things to note were the fact that they used fresh ingredients such as freshly grated wasabi which is expected at this price point. The next point that took away from the experience was the very slow service from the staff. Although the chef was preparing the courses in a timely and responsive manner, it took a long time for us to receive our beverages. Everyone, including those that came later had already received theirs and the first few courses had already come out until we finally got out beverages. Afterwards, the waiters did not refill our water or ask if we wanted to order any other drinks. Other than those two points which unfortunately bring down my total assessment for Komatrubaki, the food was quite flavorful and light and the service from the head chef was friendly and attentive. There were a few dishes that I felt were slightly overcooked and under seasoned but overall the dishes were very good. All in all, I hope Komatrubaki takes a look into these issues in order for future guests to really receive a 5 star experience. If you staying in the area and want some good Japanese food, I would recommend this spot but I would not go out of my way to come here.

Every detail was flawless—from the seasonal touches and meticulous craftsmanship to the beautiful presentation and thoughtfully chosen tableware. Most importantly, the food itself was outstanding. Even though I dined alone, the chef and those around me were warm and welcoming, which made the experience especially enjoyable and memorable. I’m truly glad I discovered this place during my trip to Paris, and I highly recommend it.

29/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful experience at Sushi Pacha! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The salmon was tender and melted in your mouth, while the maki rolls were perfectly balanced with expertly prepared rice. The presentation was elegant, with a touch of wasabi, pickled ginger, and fresh vegetables that added color and freshness. The service was pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. An excellent choice for Japanese food lovers seeking quality and freshness. I highly recommend Sushi Pacha and will gladly return! 🍣

Everything is delicious and fresh, and the hygiene is impeccable, right down to the very spacious and comfortable restrooms. It's remarkable.

29/04/2026: Honestly, I was quite disappointed with my order. I chose this restaurant because of the good reviews, but it didn't live up to expectations at all. The sushi rice was undercooked, a bit dry, and unpleasant. The California rolls also had a strange, not very fresh taste. The skewers, especially the salmon ones, were rather sickening. Overall, the quality wasn't there, at least not with this order. It's a shame because I was really expecting better. I very rarely leave negative reviews, but I have to admit I was really disappointed.

24/04/2026: Service was great, the staff were very kind and the food was delicious for a reasonable price. We tried the chicken dumplings, seaweed salad, and the chicken teriyaki plate which came with miso soup, rice, and an egg roll. Highly recommend!
