10/05/2026: A very bad experience last night when ordering through Uber Eats. The salmon tataki wasn't fresh. We immediately spat it out. We didn't dare eat the sushi—most of which was also salmon—for fear of food poisoning. What a waste of food! I'm very disappointed because I remembered a quality meal there once and a very warm welcome. I'm writing this review to encourage them to pay closer attention to product expiration dates, freshness, and maintaining the cold chain.

18/04/2026: The food is authentic and delicious. In my opinion, this is the best sushi and Japanese cuisine restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. The service is very friendly. Prices are as expected. I am definitely coming back.
17/03/2026: The best Asian restaurant in Clermont-Ferrand. Don't be fooled by the exterior; the food is excellent, I recommend it 100%. It's a bit chilly, so if you're prone to feeling cold, bring a light jacket. But truly one of the best restaurants.

11/05/2026: A good Japanese restaurant in the center of Clermont-Ferrand. However, we waited 25 minutes for our meal to be prepared, and they didn't even offer a discount. No can of soda, nor the usual 10% discount for takeout. Luckily, the sushi and skewers were good.

08/04/2026: They've reopened, and I went back. Their salmon is truly excellent, very fresh. What you hear isn't always true; trust your taste buds.
07/04/2026: It's always a pleasure to enjoy Oishi's Japanese specialties, and despite their recent closure, we will continue to be loyal customers. We ate there two days prior and thoroughly enjoyed our meal; we didn't get sick.

Sushi, skewers, and a chicken katsudon bowl.
The sushi was fine, but the rest... DISAPPOINTED! The food arrived cold, and the skewers... €6.50 down the drain since they were still frozen.
20/03/2026: The quality is really quite poor, even mediocre for the price. Plus, the wait was incredibly long for just two boxes of sushi.
I definitely don't recommend it, as the delivery took far too long, and you really need to order well in advance to eat early!
