09/07/2026: Clearly the best sushi restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon. The owners are incredibly kind. The sashimi is to die for, the fish is top quality. The portion size for the price is amazing. Go without hesitation.
02/07/2026: Disappointed because the sashimi slices were thin. I ordered their largest sashimi menu to get the maximum number of slices.
There were indeed about thirty slices, but they were thin, about 2 mm thick! This means I probably had the same weight of salmon as a regular sashimi menu, but I paid more because there were more slices. Real sashimi slices should be about 5 mm thick and 4 cm by 3 cm. These were nothing like them.
The miso soup and coleslaw were very bland, lacking any real flavor.
Don't add tomato wedges if they're only there for color, especially if the tomato isn't ripe!
The service was indifferent, without a smile. A restaurant that's only good for emergencies.

10/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon! The quality of the ingredients is truly outstanding, the food is delicious, and we enjoy every visit.
The waiters and waitresses are very pleasant, welcoming, and always smiling.
It's clearly one of the best Japanese restaurants in La Roche-sur-Yon. I particularly appreciate the fact that there are regularly new dishes and things to discover, which always makes me want to come back.
A very good place that I recommend without hesitation! 👌🍱
05/08/2026: We were just passing through town and had a craving for Japanese food when we walked past. The price has absolutely nothing to do with the quality. It's way too expensive for what's on the plate.
For Japanophiles like us, it's a "Come Dine With Me" experience that turned into a nightmare. The taste just wasn't there.
Our big mistake was not checking beforehand. The owners aren't Japanese, and it shows. In the end, it's just a completely failed attempt at a "Come Dine With Me" experience.

26/07/2026: I ordered a flavored Caffè Latte from the "Les Gourmands" drink selection, which cost €2.35. However, the machine told me to press "Café au Lait," which is €2.15—not very clear.
If I could give a positive review, the flavored Caffè au Latte/flavored Caffè Latte was good, and the servers were friendly.
19/07/2026: I was very disappointed with the cookies from La Mie Câline. They were dry, tasteless, and definitely tasted like they'd been defrosted. I couldn't finish them, so I threw them away as a precaution because they didn't seem fresh at all. I don't recommend them; avoid them!
