27/03/2024: Our group of friends did not hesitate to drive 1.5 hours back to come and taste the famous frogs from Franche Comté (Monnet-la-Ville) which this restaurant prides itself on and which some of us were delighted with. But what a disappointment. We believe that these frogs should never have been offered for consumption as they were so emaciated and tiny. 8 servings at €25 per dozen? But who were we kidding? Additionally, the micro frog legs were served without accompaniments. But what happened? Did the restaurant supplier make an April 1st joke? Was the cook on strike? We really regretted not having chosen one of the tempting dishes on the menu. Frankly, this restaurant needs to turn its back on its frog legs supplier. What joke.

13/03/2024: We came for lunch only. Excellent meal and very pleasant waitresses, unlike the person who took the order. When I asked what the fish on the children's menu was, he didn't seem to like my question. Only answer I don’t know but it’s not breaded fish… thank you Knowing that the alternative to the dish was beef tongue, I find it a bit special for a children's menu and would have liked to know in advance the fish served. My daughter doesn't necessarily like all fish. For the dish of the day we were not told “it’s meat” we know the animal and the piece we are going to eat it seems normal to me to do the same for fish Then when I wanted to explain to my daughter what could be in the mixed salad and not having any help from the order taker I had the misfortune of saying “raw vegetables, like tomatoes”. I thought about it because it's not in season (I agree but there are ways of saying it) When for my eldest daughter I asked for the children's version of the discovery menu, she told me that she was only going to take half of the menu (in which case why offer this option?) and finally a final answer unpleasant when I asked if there was wine included with the daily menu: "obviously I have already noted it" (for me it was noted wine or water so ordering was not obvious ) Really unfailing kindness... Fortunately the waitresses were other people and much nicer, the food was good, in reasonable quantity and the setting was really pretty.
