20/09/2024: A tasting at Fond du lac is always pleasant

16/09/2024: Excellent time in this oyster cabin, we were welcomed by three young girls who opened our oysters to perfection and who were very friendly. A little aperitif time by the lake with an incredible view in a very nice atmosphere with oysters of exceptional quality, we will come back!

18/09/2024: Cozy restaurant. It has some small tables inside and on the terrace, although it is more focused on takeaway food. The pokes were delicious as well as a large portion. We also ordered the portion of four gyozas with a spectacular sauce.

25/08/2024: We had marinated salmon poke. Fast service, the poké is even very good. So why only 2*? Quite simply the price... 22 euros for marinated salmon poké, it's roughly 40% more expensive than elsewhere, even in the surrounding area. I still find it abusive. edit following reaction from the merchant: 1) I see that you have read my other reviews, it is very good but you have missed my numerous 5*, 4* or other ratings. Vision problems? 2) You say that you put more marinated salmon than your competitors in your 500g poké. Either. So let's do a little calculation: let's say, being (very) large, that you add 100g of salmon (in my opinion we can divide this number by 2 or 3 but hey). Wholesale fresh salmon costs 10 to 20 euros per kg. Let's take 20, again to be broad. This means that your poke “costs” you 2 euros more than the others. So why sell it for 6 to 7 euros more? And you forget what you don't put in it and which is in your competitors' (mango, radish, edamame...) Why not just say your margin is higher? It's not a bad word...anyway.

01/09/2024: I passed this little place by chance, it was a very, very nice discovery. The waitresses are very pleasant and smiling. The decor is top notch. I felt very comfortable. I highly recommend this little place of paradise, simple and efficient. Ps: the orangeade is very good!!

26/09/2024: Pleasantly surprised by the quantity and quality of the dishes offered given the very affordable price. This shows that we can still find places where eating quality products in a bistro atmosphere is possible. Very pleasant and smiling service

24/09/2024: It’s flawless! Super nice setting, fast and pleasant service, and the dishes let's not even mention it!!! A pure treat from aperitif to dessert: the squids are tender and well grilled, the homemade fries are excellent, the crème brûlée is sure to finish you off at the end of the meal 🤤 In short, go there with your eyes closed

12/09/2024: Wir bestellten Balade sur le sable und waren sehr zufrieden. Die einzelnen Komponenten waren sehr schön angerichtet und schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell. Wir gehen bestimmt noch mal hin.

06/09/2024: Nous sortons de table, après avoir pris le menu « homard bleu » à 90. Une entrée subtile homard, tourteau, riz citronné et vinaigré .. fraîcheur absolue, mélange des consistances .. excellente Les pinces en bisque sur œuf parfait . Très bonnes Et la queue fumée en esclade avec carotte confite Et j ai craqué pour un délicieux et aérien soufflé au chocolat et à l armagnac.. Excellent et rapport qualité prix parfait

16/07/2024: Dommage que eux aussi s amusent à réduire les portions de presque moitié quand vient la pleine saison. Les prix restent les mêmes mais ça diminue😡 J y vais presque tous les jours,commerçante à Hossegor,je trouve ça minable. Très déçue

11/07/2024: Glaces beaucoup trop sucrées, pas assez fermes. Pas suffisamment de choix en version yaourt ou sorbet. Pas de topping.

30/08/2024: Un cadre très agréable avec une vue sur le lac. Un accueil parfait et très professionnel. Les Plats sont copieux et très bons. Les desserts une tuerie!

29/08/2024: Restaurant très bien placé avec le lac à côté vous aurez une très belle vue. On y mange très bien surtout le poisson et les fruits de mer que je vous recommande. Mais tout n est pas parfait pour commencer mes chipirons n étaient pas très bien assaisonnés mais le pire c est le service quand on va dans un restaurant qui a un certain standing on s attend à ce que les serveurs soient serviables et agréables mais la tout le contraire, même si il n y a presque aucune remarque à faire sur les plats le service n était largement pas à la hauteur. En espérant que les prochains clients aient un bien meilleur service.

23/08/2024: Superb dinner in a beautiful setting!! The cuisine is delicate, the cocktails excellent and the staff attentive! Special mention to Louise who took care of our table perfectly!! We will come back!!

22/08/2024: Respect to the servers and cooks who have to deal with a number of reservations clearly higher than the capacity of the establishment. We waited over an hour to order and then a second hour to be served. The owners of this establishment should certainly not be to be pitied. A great example of the restaurant industry in a tourist area

07/09/2024: Superbe soirée dans ce restaurant très agréable juste en face du lac d'Hossegor. Les plats d'une qualité et d'une fraîcheur incroyable nous ont ravis le palais. Quant à Zina, qui s'est occupée de nous, c'est un véritable petit rayon de soleil tres professionnel et qui risque d'aller très loin. Un véritable plaisir !!! Les vieux🤪🥰

14/08/2024: On vacation for a few days in Hossegor we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Everything was excellent, the dishes are super good and plentiful, the meat is tender. We went there twice. The setting is nice, the welcome from the staff and the festive atmosphere we loved. A safe bet.... See you next year, I hope. Only one thing to say go for it you won't be disappointed

29/08/2024: Good morning, The weather is nice this weekend, so head to the beach. Arriving late in the morning, you still need to think about something to eat before taking a nap and swimming. My daughter who has been there for a week takes us to Sunset. Fast food. Come on, we didn't come here to eat gourmet food. There is a line at the counter for orders. Two solutions, not enough staff or the food is good. Well I must admit that we had a great time. To summarize: Super friendly staff, electronic warning system that everything is ready, very reasonable wait for preparation and, icing on the cake, it's good. Personally, I opted, with my wife, for an American. The bread is good, crispy and warm as if it had just come from the baker. The filling is hearty and good. Everything the kids ate was good (panini and crispy chicken burgers). the picnic style tables all have a parasol which is pleasant when it is very hot. I highly recommend this place because, the added bonus, the prices are reasonable. During my second visit, I discovered camembert or mozzarella snack sticks. Crunchy and tender, it's just delicious. There's no way to go wrong with the sandwiches because everything is clearly noted on the packaging. Thank you to the whole team surprised by my compliments. Eric de Mont de Marsan.
