14/09/2026: I decided to try this affordable Chinese restaurant on a friend's recommendation, since I was dining alone. As a typical tourist, I found the service perfectly acceptable. Despite the small, crowded, and busy shop, the staff were still patient and attentive to my needs. To save time, I ordered the ready-made dishes from the counter that could be taken away. The boxed meals were average, but what more could you ask for in Paris for 9 euros for three dishes? The sweet and sour pork ribs were a pleasant surprise! Even eaten cold, they were quite tasty, slightly sweet but not too greasy. A large box for 9.5 euros was a great deal. Overall: Not a must-try, but definitely a top choice for a satisfying Chinese meal while traveling or as a convenient place to eat for those living nearby.

13/09/2026: Yum! I 100% recommend it. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For Western customers looking for a more "accessible" meal, I recommend the beef Lok Lak. Flavorful meat served with seasoned rice. The best option is to order several plates and share with a group.

03/08/2026: Excellent food, very generous portions. We opted for the set menu with an assortment of hot and cold mezze, grilled meats, and a delicious tea to finish. The terrace is also very pleasant and the waitress was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

01/08/2026: Al-Manara offers a delightful, heartfelt dining experience in the city center. My wife and I ordered the tasting menu, which began with four cold mezzes (hummus, babaganous, etc.), followed by four warm mezzes (falafel, halloumi, stuffed breads), followed by a massive plate of grilled chicken and kofta kebabs on a bed of pilaf rice. All the dishes were tasty and the portions were more than generous. Service was very friendly and fast, and my lack of French posed no problem. They allowed our dog to join us on the beautiful, shady terrace in the back.

17/08/2026: The food was spoiled, the prices were exorbitant, and the water wasn't free. They're open for money, not to serve their customers. It's absolutely terrible. I don't recommend going back.

23/08/2026: 1 star, nothing more. The service was decent, but the food wasn't great considering the supposed prestige this establishment projects, or at least tries to project. It's a shame, but I stand by what I said. The service was adequate.

19/08/2026: We came for a drink, just the two of us, and only wanted one, but the waiter insisted we order a second. In the end, I stood my ground and said no. They served us the drink rudely, clearly unhappy, and just casually announced the price. I definitely don't recommend this place, especially since it's quite expensive.
