07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery. After sharing a platter of sardines with an aperitif (a small saucer and a bit more toast would have been appreciated), we thoroughly enjoyed the Angus beef hanger steak served with fries, salad, and our choice of sauce. We appreciated being asked if we were satisfied during our meal. Another positive point: the staff were friendly and welcoming.

09/12/2025: I came for the stag party of my friend's uncle's son (kisses, youyout!) and I loved it: a wild, bloodthirsty brawl with Julien (homemade pizza specialist) emerging victorious. After the fight, how could I forget the shots offered by the owner, Pat, whom I send my love to. He kindly offered them to us when we arrived in leopard-print thongs and Basquouzzettes, and even adopted our sartorial customs (it suited him perfectly). Great place to have fun with friends, I recommend it and I'll be back.

28/11/2025: At Pat by Mel, everything is perfect. A warm welcome coupled with superb service, a private room 😉, delicious food, and a very reasonable bill. Karaoke every Friday and themed evenings once a month (not tried). Happy hour Monday to Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A second visit to Pat by Mel and just as good as the first. I highly recommend Mel's croque monsieur, which is absolutely divine. It's simply HUGE in both size and flavor, and all for a very reasonable price. What more could you ask for? Go for it!

17/02/2026: The experience was very disappointing due to the prices. The prices are clearly too high for what is offered. The aperitifs are overpriced, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. A simple Coke at €4.50 is hard to justify, especially in a town like Romorantin. One would expect prices more in line with the location. The Caprinatra salad at €17 is far too simple for that price. The ingredients are basic, lacking any real creativity or extravagance. At that price, one would expect a more elaborate and higher-quality dish. The carbonara at €17.50 is clearly not worth the price. The dish is very simple, with no distinguishing features to justify such a high price. For such a classic recipe, the value for money is simply not there. Only the desserts were truly enjoyable; they redeemed the meal. The setting is pleasant and well-maintained, but that is not enough to justify such high prices. We are in Romorantin, not a large city like Tours. Expenses are a reality for all establishments, but they shouldn't come at the expense of the customer and the value for money. Finally, it's also unfortunate to be so insistently offered a tip at the time of payment. Tipping should remain a matter of personal choice for the customer, based on their satisfaction. We felt this was a form of pressure, which wasn't very pleasant. A review of prices or a genuine improvement in the quality of the dishes would be necessary to make the overall experience more consistent.

04/02/2026: The setting and the welcome were very pleasant, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend the "Stromboli" as an aperitif and the "Paris-Turin" for dessert! You're sure to have a wonderful evening!

23/02/2026: The poke bowls are excellent, varied, and fresh; the staff is friendly and smiling. The dining area is welcoming and quiet. A great, relaxing time.

04/02/2026: I chose this restaurant for a family meal because it had excellent reviews. So I wasn't expecting tasteless pizza dough and toppings, a mediocre burger bun, a 35-minute wait to take our order when the restaurant was empty, a dining room that looked neglected (cobwebs, dirty walls, a kitchen that didn't exactly inspire confidence in hygiene), too many items missing from our order (two types of beer and a simple coffee), and a final check without even a "thank you" or "goodbye" from the owner. The pub-like atmosphere seems nice, and perhaps that's where the good reviews come from. The waiter was friendly.

26/02/2026: Absolutely fantastic! We came with two children (6 and 9 years old). We received a very warm welcome, and the meal was perfect for kids. The traditional cuisine was excellent. The price was more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back! 👍👍👍👍
