A beautiful place with character, well located (easy access to highway, train, and town) and peaceful.
The staff was attentive and competent.
Notes:
- Hotel: very comfortable beds
- Restaurant: gourmet-style menu, but generous portions
Also a great place to remember for corporate seminars and private events (weddings).

01/09/2026: Stopped here by chance on the way to vacation for a coffee, very friendly and smiling staff.
24/06/2026: Regarding Ms. Chang's last comment, the place is truly fantastic, the food is excellent, nothing to complain about!! I am a Black person, and the owner is absolutely not racist at all. This place is not to be avoided, quite the opposite, you will all have a wonderful and very friendly time. I highly recommend it! Come one, come all!!! I will definitely go back very soon, and above all, thank you for this very good time!

Very unfortunate, nice spot but I won't be eating here again.
18/07/2026: The tenderness of the rump steak is matched only by that of the staff, whose vibrant energy will brighten even the worst Monday. A warm and welcoming atmosphere awaits you in this establishment, a perfect blend of tradition and modernity, nestled within the idyllic surroundings. The calm and serenity emanating from this restaurant would make even the most devout Jedi envious, who would surely sprawl out on the inviting carpet of the dining room to admire the architectural masterpiece. Fries, so-so.

23/08/2026: A beautiful, bright, 19th-century style cottage with a lovely and accommodating manager. Very clean rooms and a very generous breakfast. I highly recommend it.
30/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at La Sauldraie in early July while our daughter was competing in the French National Equestrian Championships in Lamotte-Beuvron.
Everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome in this beautiful manor house with its large garden. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was generous.
And all this for a very reasonable price. Thank you, Julie, for your hospitality and helpfulness.
We were delighted with our stay.
Note: Parking is available within the grounds.
If you are participating in equestrian competitions in Lamotte-Beuvron, La Sauldraie is ideally located. It's about a 15-minute drive, a straight shot along the main road.

22/06/2024: Accueil timide mais convivial. Le restaurant propose une ardoise rn plus de la carte mais le dimanche soir, toutes les propositions ne sont plus disponibles, dommage !
Bonne cuisine pour un tarif plus que correct.
