The burger of the day was just a patty in a bun.
A salad with insufficient dressing.
A risotto that was far too greasy; it took all day to digest.
Pieces of meat as tough as rocks.
Supposedly creamy rice, but mostly overcooked—just mush.
Slow service, undoubtedly due to a kitchen that can't keep up.
Indeed, these are harsh comments, but this is the true negative experience we had.
We knew and greatly appreciated the previous owners; we will not be returning with the new ones.

15/01/2026: Review for Le Petit Pêcheur restaurant before the change of ownership:
The staff is friendly but a bit quiet (sometimes better than overly talkative people).
The complimentary amuse-bouche was delicious. The presentation of the dishes was exceptional, a feast for the eyes, then a delight for the palate!
The place could use a real refresh, both inside and out. Special attention could be paid to cleaning (dirty and peeling door frames, cobwebs on the entrance door...).

16/02/2026: Hello, on Saturday evening we ordered from the pizza kiosk in Varades. We've never had a problem ordering online before… I arrived to pick up my order of 4 pizzas and they claimed they hadn't received it, even though the payment had been taken from my account. I showed them that I had indeed ordered in Varades and that the payment had been taken, and they told me there was supposedly a problem with the website and that I wasn't the first person this had happened to. So I had to reorder and pay again; in total it cost me €112.80.
