30/08/2026: I've eaten there three times and it's always a pleasure to visit the Auberge de l'École Bouchala. The food is good, hearty, and flavorful country fare, with dishes that truly come alive. The chef is incredibly talented, the owner makes excellent desserts and also manages the service, always with a smile. And Johanna is a very pleasant and cheerful waitress. A great team, a great atmosphere, and above all, food that makes you want to come back. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! You can go without hesitation! 😍

08/08/2026: August 8, 2026 A huge disappointment. The beef tongue (a good idea) was too salty. The beef was undercooked and took a long time to chew. The new potatoes were cooked several days ago and microwaved before serving, resulting in a rubbery texture. The béarnaise sauce was bland. The dessert (a sort of lemon baba) was unremarkable; the lemon was nowhere to be seen. Local produce??? Oh yes, the beer (from the Ardèche region) was very good. The service? Slow in the morning and not too fast in the evening = 4 tables and over 2 hours to serve them. Before, it was a pleasure to come here.
