I've eaten there three times and it's always a pleasure to visit the Auberge de l'École Bouchala. The food is good, hearty, and flavorful country fare, with dishes that truly come alive. The chef is incredibly talented, the owner makes excellent desserts and also manages the service, always with a smile. And Johanna is a very pleasant and cheerful waitress. A great team, a great atmosphere, and above all, food that makes you want to come back. I wholeheartedly recommend this place! You can go without hesitation! 😍

Excellent little restaurant located in the village's former schoolhouse. We ate under the covered area and enjoyed a bit of fresh air in the current heatwave. A family-run establishment; the husband is the chef and the wife takes care of the pastries and desserts. Parking nearby (20 meters). Spotless accessible restrooms and other facilities.

A wonderful discovery thanks to Passtime. A charming, authentic little inn that truly lives up to its name, "The School." The owners and waitress gave us a warm and friendly welcome. We ate in the schoolyard under the covered area, and despite the 30°C heat, we were very comfortable. It was lovely to watch children playing hopscotch. We enjoyed a delicious meal. From start to finish, everything was perfect, and the service was top-notch. We'll be back to try the frog legs! 😉

The best frog legs I've ever eaten! 🤤🤤 Those who chose the set menu were also delighted. Thank you for this wonderful meal. If I didn't live in Strasbourg, I would definitely come back. 😉 So yes, I highly recommend this inn.

I'm usually very satisfied here. Last night, the meal was good overall, the only downside was the sea bream with tomato pieces cooked in foil... it all tasted of aluminum due to the acidity of the tomato. A shame. The starter was excellent. The service was very pleasant.
