Very beautiful specimens to see.
A nice bonus: there's a restaurant on site, but reservations are required as seating is limited.
02/09/2026: Sunday evening in August. There was no one at the restaurant reception, so we sat at an empty table, and the waitress gave us a very cold welcome. The lighting was much dimmer than in the photos, and walking through the gardens was difficult in the dark. Fortunately, the singer was exceptional. Furthermore, the advertised price of the meal was €49, but we were charged €55.
We have visited several times, but we were a little disappointed this evening as we expected a warmer welcome.

25/04/2026: A truly wonderful gastronomic experience, with refined and delicious cuisine. The welcome and service from both management and staff were warm and friendly. We will definitely return to Au Temple sur Lot on our next visit.
18/02/2026: We came for lunch as a group of four and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was attentive yet discreet.

12/09/2026: A hearty, well-prepared, and beautifully presented lunch for the set menu—well done! Despite a mistake when taking our order—I had asked for an asparagus muffin, but I received a surf and turf salad instead…as did my husband, no big deal, it was delicious! I didn't dare mention it because it was very busy and there weren't many staff.
We worked up quite an appetite, so it's a shame there was nothing to accompany it…prunes or some local hazelnuts would have been nice, especially since we discovered a regional aperitif, Floc de Gascogne (local).
Apart from this minor point, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend it!

27/09/2026: We stopped by at 1:15 pm and were greeted warmly. We were seated on the terrace. The mussels and fries were perfect 🍟, and the small pavlova-style ice cream dessert was a nice touch 💡. My husband ordered a cheese plate with local cheese 🧀. The atmosphere was simple and pleasant – well done! We'll be back.
26/09/2026: It's a shame, the place is quite nice but the pizza is really not exceptional! Not much taste or flavor and the cheese was like rubber…

16/09/2024: paillotte des plus sympathiques , on se sent en vacances dès que l'on pose un pied (dans le sable); patron très serviable, à l'écoute, repas très bon (viande maturée +++); et vue sur le Lot et le château/mairie en face des plus agréables; à tester sans modération
10/08/2024: Un soir d’été, nous nous sommes arrêtés dîner. Un service quelque peu longuet mais des plats de qualité. Un hamburger fait maison et très bon, des frites maison et un cadre exceptionnel. Avec vue sur le cours d’eau et sur la commune de Castelmoron sur Lot.
