In a beautiful setting with a refreshing terrace, an excellent menu awaits you. Very good cuisine, featuring specialties from the southwest. The menu is a tad overpriced, but drinks are reasonably priced. The atmosphere is peaceful, as the tables are spaced far apart. However, getting a smile from the owner... well, that's hard to come by 😂 even for a child who would have liked two scoops of ice cream instead of just one on the €12 children's menu. Anyway... Overall, a good place, more suited to discerning adults.

It is a rare thing when a restaurant confounds your expectations. One usually can expect average at best fayre at an eatery attached to a place of interest and poor value, usually too. La Commanderie is the proverbial ‘exception that proves the rule’: 19 Euro lunch menu with well prepared and interesting seasonal options. Bravo!

A very nice restaurant, beautiful presentation, and delicious food. The welcome was warm: we were taken care of even though the restaurant was full, and we only waited 30 minutes.

A disappointing experience at this restaurant.
The owner was completely silent and unsmiling; thankfully the young man at the reception was friendly. As for the meal itself, only the starter was acceptable (soft-boiled egg).
The "homemade" fries were actually frozen fries.
The rum bava dessert was very cold and stale.
For €50 per person, it was more than disappointing. I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it.
