02/07/2026: We spent a night there on our Stevenson Trail hike. Avoid this place at all costs; it's not worthy of the name. We were devoured by bedbugs. The place is dilapidated and run-down.
14/06/2026: Dinner included in the half-board package with the "Au Figuier des Cévennes" hotel: unpleasant owner, excessively slow service, uninteresting menu! And the owner boasts about stopping the half-board arrangement with the hotel—great news for future hikers!
If you can avoid Recantou, do it!
