26/04/2024: It’s an establishment that really deserves a lot more people to stop there!
We had a wonderful evening! When you arrive, the place is already magical and at the same time super warm. The welcome is great and the servers are smiling, attentive to everything we might need and super responsive. The dishes are really very good, they could be satisfied with the quality of the products but the details are pushed to the end of the seasoning which is really pleasing! (+++ for the flowing chocolate heart)
In short, a great establishment where we eat for our money, with super nice staff who go to the last detail to satisfy their customers! (From small producer olives at the start of the meal to individual towels in the toilets when leaving) Thank you for this experience :)

Inside, the upstairs is nicer.
18/07/2023: Very poorly received. The waiter (who seems to be the owner) made mistake after mistake and he got angry.... Doesn't know his menu, unfriendly and takes a long time to serve. From what we understand, the restaurant has just been bought with this behavior, it seems complicated to me... The Coke is served hot with a few melted ice cubes. No license therefore no alcohol. Don't take restaurant tickets either.

30/04/2024: Ah...for atypical places, with a magnificent setting, the Garenne can only please.. shady places, river, tennis and its equestrian center.. its restaurant with concerts on indoor weekends on the bar side.. and high summer outside, I highly recommend...

31/03/2024: Very friendly welcome. We are given the choice of table in 2 rooms. (This is not always the case elsewhere)For 4 people. Menu €25. Very correct and plentiful.
A good time to renew.
I recommend it with a view of the rough sea in March.
24/02/2024: We were happy to see the only restaurant open at La Franqui out of season.
Top service with a smile, sympathy and great care.
The menu at €25 is copious (generous seafood tapas starter, carefully cooked steaks, perfect desserts)
Well we will have to come back to taste the tiramisu 🤣

29/10/2023: On October 21, 2023, my husband and I celebrated our wedding at the Guinguette du Golf with 50 of our loved ones.
We had spotted La Guinguette a year earlier via a room rental site.
We visited in August 2022 and literally fell in love with this place.
Leucate is a little paradise far from the ultra-tourist towns on this coast. It is one of the oldest seaside resorts and it shows. the buildings have retained a small, outdated style from the 30s and 50s.
Jean Laurent, one of the managers of the place and his father followed us step by step in the organization of our event. The big plus of this place is that it has around ten adjacent apartments. We are from the Ile-de-France region and our friends came from several regions. Everyone was able to sleep there so we started on Friday evening and finished on Sunday afternoon.
La Guinguette du Glof is a wonderful place to get married, to remarry or any other precious moment!
12/09/2023: Very nice little corner, I loved it! Great welcome and very kind waiter, very good food with a beautiful view, very pleasant corner with the heat.
Very good time spent there! I will come back

garbure soup, cassoulet, bowl piccoulat, chicken: local dishes that we greatly appreciated. Very warm welcome and exchanges with the owner.. I highly recommend because the products are fresh and local!
