26/02/2026: We visited on February 26, 2026. Everything was perfect. The dishes were excellent, made with quality ingredients, at a very reasonable price. Special mention to the waiters and waitress who were remarkably kind and had a great sense of humor. We had a wonderful time, thank you for the warm welcome!

26/02/2026: A wonderful discovery at Auberge des Grottes. I absolutely loved the meal, from appetizer to dessert, with a true sense of balance in flavors and textures. Special mention for the appetizer: "Scallops in red cabbage gravlax, wasabi cream" — a combination as subtle as it was original. And the dessert: "Salsify tagliatelle, passion fruit cream, and walnut-salsify crumble" — a delightful surprise, both delicate and perfectly executed. Creative, refined, and perfectly balanced cuisine. I highly recommend it!

13/03/2026: A very warm welcome with fast, friendly, and family-run service. I highly recommend eating here. If you're looking for good couscous, this is the place. Traditional and high-quality couscous. The atmosphere is truly wonderful.

08/03/2026: VEGANS and VEGETARIANS BEWARE ! There are NO vegetarian couscous. The stock is made from meat and vegetables and used in all the couscous dishes. That's what the chap said. In fairness, nothing is marked in the menu as vegetarian/vegan, hence why we asked. The chap seemed amused by us being vegetarians. He and his colleague (the one wearing glasses) made insulting remarks and smirked as we went out. I don't mind people eating meat, it's their choice. I don't like being humiliated because of my choice of diet. This is the reason why I'm giving the lowest rating. TripAdvisor doesn't seem to classify this place as vegetarian. But a Google search of veggie places will list it. This will irk the owner, a lot, but I shouldn't be made fun of.

22/03/2026: Excellent value for money. Delicious and incredibly generous couscous, plus they even let you take home any leftovers! A must-try!

21/02/2026: Excellent pizzas, thin crust, generous toppings, perfectly cooked. We thoroughly enjoyed them! Very pleasant service and reasonable prices. If Cherbourg weren't so far away, I'd definitely make it my regular spot!
