Au refuge berbère
Rouen
26/02/2026: We loved everything about this restaurant: the couscous, the welcome, the decor, the atmosphere... a journey into the Arabian Nights, for one evening... everything was perfect! Thank you
26/01/2026: I tried explaining it to you, but you wouldn't listen, so I'm writing this down for future customers.
This is what's commonly called a "Doggy Bag," and this measure is part of the AGEC law (Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy).
Here are the key points to remember:
1. What the law says
Article L541-15-7 of the Environmental Code stipulates that commercial restaurants and establishments serving drinks for on-premises consumption must provide customers, upon request, with reusable or recyclable containers for taking home uneaten food or drinks.
2. Exceptions and limitations
While the obligation is clear, there are some nuances:
All-you-can-eat buffets: The law is less clear here, as the business model relies on on-premises consumption. Restaurants often prohibit taking home leftovers to prevent abuse, but they must remain vigilant about food waste.
Hygiene: Restaurants can disclaim responsibility for food storage once the food has left the premises (for example, if the cold chain is broken).
Beverages: This requirement also applies to beverages, except for those in returnable containers.

Prince des sables
Rouen
23/06/2024: Call yourself a Tunisian restaurant no, no taste that made me think of Tunisia, this restaurant is made for French people who don't know the real taste of couscous, who like bland white semolina, the only positive point is the skewer, otherwise merguez looks like a sausage from the supermarket, quite long service and very expensive for what it is and not even bread for salads and even for mint tea you have to wait, it's too much
