04/03/2026: What can I say about this restaurant...? Go without hesitation! Everything is perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the quality of the food. A true delight for the taste buds! Even without a reservation, the owner takes the time to set a table for you if all the others are reserved. The dishes aren't greasy. The couscous is perfectly portioned. The vegetables are plentiful and delicious. The meat is also very good. We had a wonderful time. The desserts are also good and varied. Seriously, if you want to escape for a delicious meal... go for it! A quick note about the prices... quite reasonable. We paid €120 for three people for a starter, a main course, and a dessert per person. Add a bottle of Evian, a glass of wine, and two mint teas.

01/02/2026: A warm and welcoming restaurant. We often go there as a family and it's always a pleasure. The food is delicious and our son says it's worthy of a 5-star restaurant :) We highly recommend it.

10/11/2025: Very disappointed, a disaster. The meat was dry, very little meat, and there was a lot of salad. It tasted like reheated food. What a shame.

03/11/2025: We had a very good experience at this restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perhaps just one small point for improvement: the ambiance could benefit from softer lighting and some oriental music to create a truly immersive experience.

17/12/2025: Mixed experience. Our waitress was smiling and very pleasant. The atmosphere in the dining room was unbearable: small tables, crammed together, and far too noisy. The food was decent, but the merguez sausages were much too greasy—I was still digesting them the next day—and the chicken was dry and overcooked.

18/02/2026: I was quite disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The pastillas were dry, and the food, in general, was merely adequate, nothing more. However, the behavior of the bespectacled manager really ruined the experience. He was very haughty and unpleasant, and didn't respond to our request. This is regrettable, as service and hospitality are just as important as the quality of the food. I don't think I'll be going back.

16/02/2026: A Bougival institution I hadn't visited in a long time. What a pleasure to rediscover the same atmosphere with Aziz now at the helm of this family restaurant! The dishes are delicious and generous, the service efficient and friendly despite a packed house this Sunday lunchtime. Mint tea was discreetly served throughout the meal... I'll definitely be back to Morocco in Yvelines :)

06/11/2025: A beautiful and very peaceful place. A great atmosphere and a super friendly welcome. Clean and attentive service. The meal was impeccable, nothing to complain about. Except that the food was excellent. I will definitely be back. All the best.

26/10/2025: 10/2025 Perfect in every way. 03/2023 Always good, fresh products and attentive staff. Don't hesitate to try it for a complete change of scenery, taste-wise. 09/2019 Very warm welcome, pleasant service. The products are good, and the waitresses help you choose and discover the specialties. Private parking for customers. Small dining room, reservations are recommended, and in good weather, the terrace is very popular.

09/03/2026: The food was good, as you'd expect from Moroccan food. The service was great. My only complaint is the portion size of the couscous, which was really small. Considering the price, it's a shame the semolina isn't unlimited, as you often find in other restaurants of this type.

03/01/2026: A very bad experience. We ordered two couscous dishes, yet we were served only one dish of semolina to share, one dish of vegetables to share, and only one piece of lamb (even though we had ordered a lamb couscous and a vegetarian couscous). The portions were clearly insufficient for two people. When we asked for a little more semolina, we were charged an extra €3 for a minimal amount. The couscous is listed at €19.90 on the menu, but in the end, it was charged at €23, without any clear explanation. Very disappointing value for money and a lack of transparency. We will not be returning.

Comment Correction Second visit in July The food is good and the service is good, but some items on the menu weren't available, including the couscous mechoui we came for (and didn't arrive until the end of service). It's now listed on the menu (subject to availability), but it was never available on either visit. So we'll go elsewhere.

08/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Versailles! The Essaouira restaurant offers authentic and generous Moroccan cuisine, with truly delicious couscous and tagines. The portions are generous, the semolina light, and the meats perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The welcome is warm, the service attentive without being intrusive, and the ambiance, with its oriental decor, is both convivial and relaxing. An excellent spot near the Versailles market to travel the world for a meal, with the added bonus of very good value for money. I highly recommend it, especially if you love authentic Moroccan specialties.

01/03/2026: We wanted to order teas and a harira (there were three of us), but they told us we couldn't go inside because we had to order more, even though the restaurant wasn't full at that time (plus it was cold). The tea was okay and the harira was good. However, I won't be going back because I don't think it's right to put people outside just because they don't order plates, and we also got the impression that we weren't welcome because of our background. They didn't put napkins on the table and they put the spoon directly on the table instead of on the plate. There was also an eyelash on the bread. The Tunisian waiter, on the other hand, was pleasant. P.S. Your rude response shows the kind of person you are! * I don't recommend this place to anyone

20/02/2026: Excellent Portuguese restaurant in Versailles! The grilled octopus was perfectly cooked and tender. Pleasant and efficient service. I highly recommend it! 🐙

24/01/2026: So, how can I put it? The service was incredibly slow; I had to wait an hour between each course. I wasn't familiar with Portuguese cuisine, and frankly, it wasn't great. I don't know if it was the food or the restaurant itself, but I just didn't like it at all. I certainly won't be going back.

25/02/2026: A disastrous experience. I don't know what's going on in the kitchen, but it's clearly a public health hazard. Just a few hours after eating, I became violently ill: nausea, pain, unable to get up—a real case of food poisoning. The freshness of the ingredients leaves much to be desired: a suspicious smell, a strange taste, and hygiene that is anything but reassuring. A restaurant is supposed to offer a pleasant experience, not a trip to the emergency room. Absolutely avoid this place if you value your health.

12/01/2026: I've been going there for years, and I'm sorry, but it's the best kebab in Trappes. Even the hamburgers they offer are very good, quite well-filled, and always generous with fries. The kebab is never dry, always well-filled, unlike other kebab shops in Trappes, unfortunately.
