Saudade restaurant sur Versailles

A very pleasant experience in a refined and immersive setting. The service is particularly enjoyable, with a warm and professional welcome. The lovely tableware and Portuguese tiles adorning the walls contribute greatly to the charm of the place. It's very comfortable to be seated. As for the food, the portions are generous, perhaps even a little too much so. The quantity is certainly there, but we felt it lacked the finesse and elegance that we had particularly appreciated during our previous visit. We had been before and had retained very fond memories of the delicacy and flavors of the dishes. Unfortunately, the change in chef is noticeable on the plate, and we were a little disappointed to find less finesse this time. It remains a pleasant place, and we would like to emphasize the kindness, attentiveness, and high level of professionalism of the owner.

The meal was fine except for the main courses, which weren't hot. Barely lukewarm. We mentioned this to the waiter, who offered us a digestif. We accepted it, but it cost us €60... we thought it was an apology for the lukewarm food. After our comment, he offered us another one at his own expense, which we declined. That's how you lose customers. We still ended up paying over €400 with the menu, aperitifs, water, and wine...

Two-hour wait for a main course and dessert, and starters added/sold even though they hadn't been ordered.
