The meal was fine except for the main courses, which weren't hot. Barely lukewarm. We mentioned this to the waiter, who offered us a digestif. We accepted it, but it cost us €60... we thought it was an apology for the lukewarm food. After our comment, he offered us another one at his own expense, which we declined. That's how you lose customers. We still ended up paying over €400 with the menu, aperitifs, water, and wine...

09/07/2026: This place is only ten minutes' walk from the Palace of Versailles and is worth every step! After a long day on the palace grounds, coming here for a bite to eat and a cold drink was a worthwhile trip. Our hostess was attentive and the food was delicious and prompt to arrive at our table. Be aware, however, that their kitchen closes at around 16:30– you will want to come a bit earlier to have a full meal. If you are keen on a late lunch after a day out at the palace, this would be a great spot to stop by.
16/06/2026: Very good and cozy restaurant in a beautiful street in Versailles. They have the dish of the day + starter or dessert for 19 euros. The confit de canard is very tasty, highly recommend having lunch here. The beers are also really good 🍺
