16/03/2026: First visit to La Table à Victor since the change of chef. The welcome from the restaurant's iconic waiter was as warm as ever. The menu has changed very little, with the meat dishes remaining exceptional. The wine pairing recommendations were always excellent. If we hadn't known the chef had changed, we wouldn't have noticed the difference. Excellent value for money, making this restaurant one of the best in the area!
07/03/2026: An exceptional establishment that tells a story.
The refined and delicate dishes are served by a super friendly duo who don't hesitate to raise their voices to sing "Happy Birthday," which is then joined by the whole room.
Thank you for the candle and for this wonderful discovery. My first time here.
There will certainly be others.

The staff are very friendly and attentive, taking the time to chat with and advise customers even during the busiest times. Don't change a thing, and honestly, well done! 👏👏👏👏

12/04/2026: The food was a bit lacking for the price (€82 for two people with only one drink), a little expensive in my opinion, especially considering the quality. The kebab meat was decent, the miso soup was a bit cold, and the sushi rice was rather bland. Overall, an average experience for an average rating. However, the service was impeccable; the waitress was very kind and did her best.

29/03/2026: Third visit to this restaurant and a little disappointed by my meal yesterday! The beef tongue didn't seem homemade? I make it myself, so I know what I'm talking about 😉. The rabbit rillettes were bland and tasteless. On the other hand, the waffle is still as good as ever. It's a shame to go to a restaurant if you can make better at home 🤨.

02/03/2026: Passing through Toul, we chose to eat at Brasserie K, nestled on the former Kleber site. We weren't disappointed by the menu. Everything was delicious and refined, and the service was impeccable. A special mention to Marie, who brightened our day with her attentiveness and lovely smile.
20/01/2026: A truly unique restaurant in an industrial estate, located near the A31 motorway. A very warm welcome and a good menu du jour. They also provided an additional suggestion that sounded excellent. Definitely a place to remember if we're ever traveling through the area!

28/04/2026: I ordered takeout from them on Saturday evening, April 25th; it's now April 28th. I've had severe diarrhea and intestinal pain for the past four days.
18/02/2026: For years they haven't been able to put three drops of grease in their dumbwaiter, resulting in a more than audible squeaking noise for the adjacent buildings... This clearly demonstrates their inability to maintain their restaurant... I can't even imagine the state of the kitchen when you see the overall condition of the place, the surrounding area, and the poor maintenance of the equipment... I didn't even try to eat there...

01/05/2026: Well, I agree with the other reviews that the restaurant isn't very clean, the staff seems jaded, and the prices are outrageous. I asked for extra dressing for the salad, which cost €3.75 for a six-leaf portion, and I felt like I was about to bankrupt McDonald's. I'd much rather go to Burger King; it's frankly a rip-off.

27/04/2026: For a last-minute gift, I chose a box of chocolates from Gigout for €43.
Unfortunately, the service and especially the presentation were disappointing: a simple box tied with ribbon, without any gift wrapping.
When I politely asked for a presentation bag, I was told they were out and given a large beige kraft paper bag instead.
This is all the more disappointing because, for a similar price, stores like Jeff de Bruges consistently offer attractive packaging and a more professional service. A shame for a company like Gigout.
26/04/2026: My friend bought three pies and a Lorraine pâté today, what a disappointment... Barely 30 grams of meat inside and just pastry!!! A total rip-off!!! Saving money at the expense of customers is great!!! I obviously do not recommend this establishment... I don't like to post negative reviews, but this is ridiculous.

16/02/2026: The service and reception were extremely unfriendly. Avoid them.
31/12/2025: Conveniently located at the Toul bus station in the city center.
The coffee is good, but the service isn't particularly warm, and the place isn't exactly bustling.
The owner might benefit from being more welcoming to attract customers, as her predecessor did.
Otherwise, the prices are reasonable. The light in the restrooms goes out after a few seconds, so it's best not to have a long errand to run, or you'll find yourself in the dark. There's a terrace in the summer.
