22/03/2026: A lovely dinner on March 20th; we opted for the €52 set menu and it was excellent. The extra petit fours at various points during the meal were a very welcome surprise. We also ordered a glass of wine to accompany our main course, as well as aperitifs.
The dishes were original and of high quality. The service was good.
The atmosphere was quite intimate and airy.
11/03/2026: Average for a "gastronomic" restaurant.
We didn't find it exceptional... Beef fillet and sea bass fillet (the fish wasn't cooked through). Nothing extraordinary, it's what you find in many restaurants.
Only the appetizers, petit fours, and dessert were more elaborate.
Otherwise, impeccable service and a very warm welcome.

09/03/2026: A very pleasant place, but a shame about the daily special – don't order the veal escalope.
It's not specified that it's breaded, okay, but it's overcooked, tough, difficult to cut, the breading is soggy, sticky, and not crispy at all… served with runny mashed potatoes… sorry, but neither good nor refined at all… A huge disappointment.
The service is friendly and discreet, and the prices are reasonable.

19/03/2026: An excellent address to remember. A very professional, warm, and friendly welcome, high-quality accommodations, and exceptional cuisine. Even breakfast is delightful. A flawless experience, which is quite rare. A great place to stay, and I will definitely be back.
Beyond that, the location in a beautiful and equally charming village.
16/02/2026: We were the first guests of the hotel and restaurant 15 years ago, on Saturday, February 14th. It was a truly delightful evening.
How could we not take the time to commend the staff for their exceptional empathy and attentiveness? We're already looking forward to our next visit, and rest assured we will share this experience with our friends and family by leaving this very positive review.

Nous avons diné (3 adultes) jeudi 8 aout au restaurant Le Calao. Au moment de payer l´addition, j´ai voulu payer avec ma carte, j´ai saisi le code et la dame qui nous a servi a dit que le paiement avait été refusé. On a donc réuni l´argent en espèce pour payer notre diner, soit 70,5 eur. De retour chez moi après les vacances, j´ai constaté avec surprise que sur mon relevé bancaire la somme de 70,50 euros avait été prélevée. C´est à dire que nous avons payé 2 fois pour le même repas.
J´ai essayé de contacter le restaurant soit par téléphone, soit par message privé sur Facebook, sans résultats, malheureusement.
15/08/2024: Cuisine hyper goûtu du fait maison.
Vraiment excellent.
Rapport qualité prix rien à dire.
Au top du top.
