01/09/2024: If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was in the area recently and needed a place to stay for 2 nights. I always research where I stay and this place had some really good reviews and of course a handful of not great reviews (like most places). I decided to stay here, and let me tell you the people who left ridiculously bad reviews clearly live a strange life. This restaurant/lodging was in every way perfect. And trust me, I travel enough to know good vs not so good! The rooms were clean and comfortable and just what I needed and the food was super. And talk about a nice atmosphere just to sit and hang out!!!! The owners were so accommodating and I enjoyed talking to them a lot. I recommend the chicken caesar salad and you can't go wrong with any of the burgers. This is a total diamond for locals and traveller's. Thanks so much for making me feel welcome and making it a great stay!

19/08/2024: We spent 1 night at the Black Dog, had dinner and breakfast. We were well received. The pub is cozy, you feel good there. Bedroom 5 is comfortable. The charcuterie and cheese board was plentiful and was enough for dinner, no need to add a burger....just dessert. Breakfast is complete and free if you book directly on their site. Thank you John for the little musical attention in the morning for us Metalheads passing through.

24/09/2024: A great time spent this Sunday, despite the lack of staff, we were well received, pleasant service, with good local products on our plates, magnificent view of the lake, to do again!

24/09/2024: We stopped by for a drink at the end of the day on Friday, we were very well received with a smiling and very pleasant waitress. We will come back for dinner very quickly given the magnificent setting.
