09/12/2023: A creperie worth the detour The pancakes are delicious, with local products and so well prepared, the terrace with a view of the water, everything is there to have a good time. The service and welcome are warm, we will come back.

13/01/2024: The entire staff is super welcoming, caring, friendly and the service was perfect! The cook offered us an additional starter to show us his squid preparation. From starter to dessert, the plates were very well presented and the dishes delicious and refined. I highly recommend this flavorful restaurant!

07/10/2023: A very beautiful village and an exceptional view.... "Le Tilleul" is simply its complete opposite.... I stopped there for the view and to drink a coffee. From the outset I felt that I was disturbing, the owner/server was carrying a young child in his arms and took the order as such. He brought me a ristreto, a kind of slightly darker tea... without sugar. I asked him if he could give me some sugar and then he told me that a ristreto was drunk without sugar, well...he brought it to me reluctantly. This gentleman has certainly never been to Italy, nor drunk a real coffee in his life: infamous remains kind to describe this coffee, I did not finish it, I paid him and told him that his product does not Wasn't good but not serious. He told me that I shouldn't be sensitive....))))). I didn't get offended even if the coffee I paid for was really bad, a little salty even as if the regeneration of the machine had not been completed... or never done... salty like the water next to the sea..... I think that sensitivity was on his side, if a restaurateur/operator of an establishment will find a smile in a compliment on his products, he must also take into account constructive remarks and not get offended, see like he did with me, completely close himself off to comments, text: "I can't hear you sir".... A real professional would either offer to make the coffee again, or not to do it. cash in. You lack, sir, the know-how, the sense of welcome, of generosity, and of loving people if you want to do this job for the long term. A very nice job indeed, but you have been, at least concerning me, the complete opposite of what is expected by a clientele: sense of welcome, good product, smile, etc.....If I come back One day in Belle-île-en-Mer, I will stop by Tilleul to see if you are still active, out of curiosity.... Thank you for your brief response.....I sincerely think that when reading the other Google reviews, some of them of a laudatory nature mix with other more negative ones, like mine, quite categorical and only one star , the lowest rating. We notice that some 5 stars are written by tourist guides, which from my point of view is not really credible, others, as is often the case, undoubtedly come from a few rare friends..... I don't think I will visit your establishment again, in any case, you will certainly no longer be the operator there, you will either have given up or gone bankrupt. I had a coffee at the Palais before taking the ferry back, the waiter basically told me that since the Tilleul had been taken over, I was the third customer who had complained about your establishment. Quality coffee requires the following parameters: quality water, correct water temperature and pressure, monthly regeneration of the machine, quality coffee beans, perfect grind and filter filling around 9 grams/cup. Offer a quality product, rather than getting offended by constructive comments, welcome customers with a smile.... the rest is in place, the place is nice and the view is magnificent with this port and these boats. You will see, people will be happy, positive reviews will cry, your turnover will increase....Just like in the best of all worlds....

28/10/2023: We had lunch there twice in 1 week, that’s saying something... A charming place and an address well known to the people of Bellilois for a very long time in Sauzon. Smiling and very pleasant welcome. A happy meal with very original and delicious things of course. I really fell in love with this restaurant near the church. A very pretty room and a well-sheltered terrace with garden view. Photo of the “cigar” dessert: magical!

04/10/2023: After spending a large part of my summer childhood in this legendary place that is the Hôtel du Phare, we have now been coming back there for 4 years. For 4 years we have had at least one dinner at the restaurant and we have never been disappointed... until last night. The starter (white tuna tartare) was good, quite classic with a really soft seasoning but it allows you to feel the taste of the fish. The disappointment was more on the dish, an overcooked skate wing and too salty overall. For the person who accompanied me, the veal was also too firm and overcooked, however the whole thing was apparently tasty with a very successful sauce. Nothing to complain about my chocolate dessert which was classic but perfectly executed. The strawberry, for its part, sold as being accompanied by vanilla from Madagascar, also included fresh mint and it's a shame because it outweighed the vanilla. A little disappointed I admit but once is not usual and we will certainly come back.
21/09/2023: Just a little comment on your answer! Don't worry about my diet, which you may have misunderstood! I can handle a few salad leaves well! I did not question the quality of your products! But we probably don't have the same meaning of the word 'generously' Sincerely

03/04/2024: Very rude owner who told us the place was full when it was clearly empty. When I questioned this in my limited French he started to shout at me that his staff weren’t ready and basically chased me out of the place. Quite a funny encounter but I would definitely not recommend a visit sorry!
