26/04/2024: Never forget one thing, the money you are given is always good so yes we have every right to have expectations of a €75 menu When bad faith wins you over, you can blame it on your customers if you like it...this explains it, your restaurant in which you had to book well in advance was 3/4 empty on a Saturday evening so it must be me 🤣 Light years away from the Villa Castellino of yesteryear...Having been there dozens and dozens of times...Everything was bad...To eat foie gras at least once a week, this is one of the worst that I was able to taste it, bland and in my opinion I don't think I'm wrong in saying that it is not a French product but a very low quality product from another EU country , it is even a certainty The brioche with the foie gras, a taste of “marbled cake” dry as stone and not tasty at all To put it briefly, 0 research in the presentation, which does not at all envy the arrival of the plate, presentation from 20 years ago, 0 research in the flavors, absolutely nothing interesting, from the cuisine of canteen The turbot does not match at all with the tomacouli, it looks like a piece of fish with a brick of tomato sauce that you could eat in the hospital The funniest thing about the dish, in addition to the fact that the flavor was completely uninteresting, was the name “with green asparagus tips”, a tip of asparagus cut in half No other vegetables on the plate Dessert, a tuile with rhubarb compote, cheese cream and some red fruits, a brasserie dessert The price and quality are in no way adequate A choice that is more than limited, to say nothing in terms of choice, tuna, turbot, beef and sweetbreads, no pieces of veal or poultry Two menus 65 or 75€, I call that flying away or rather, touching So I don't know if it's Ukraine or the Luxembourg border which is a determining factor in prices. We are, in all sincerity, on a menu that would cost at most €45 max, as we find in a whole bunch of restaurants in the region in which it is a treat. One of the worst restaurants in years, eating in this type of restaurant between 3 and 4 times a week Restaurant that is only a shadow of itself I would be ashamed to serve this if I were you and above all I understand why at the cash register no one asked me if it was, otherwise I would have told you word for word what I just wrote...after none of the 3 plate withdrawals the question was asked to us...WE ATE BECAUSE WE WERE HUNGRY...you have to know how to question yourself and be objective, customers pay a lot so they will undeniably say that it is good, the expression "more it's expensive, the more it's good" takes on its full meaning, the products are noble but their presentation is a disaster...Taste your plates...and learn to read the constructed and detailed reviews to counter an incontestable reality... you must have been stuck in 98, look and taste what is being done elsewhere, you will quickly go and hide...even looking at the photos of the other dishes, it is anything but beautiful, 2 carrots and 2 beans it looks like we are at home Flunch...we're not going to have to keep working hard, we're going to have to start
