13/08/2026: Excellent welcome, even though I was arriving at the end of my shift. We had a meal on the terrace, in the small inner courtyard at the foot of the ramparts. Remarkable value for money, and the service was young but very competent and dedicated! A pleasant surprise!

27/07/2026: It's very difficult to write a review like this because, in general, I tend to adapt to the customs and traditions of each place I visit, and I try to understand the local customs. The visit took place on a Sunday. All the other establishments in town were closed. Since it was a bit late, 1:45 pm, we asked if we could have lunch and they said yes. From then on, the woman who served us started taking our order with unusual haste. We needed to understand the menu (the restaurant doesn't have a menu), and although we spoke French, it was impossible. In the end, we chose quickly without really knowing what we were ordering, as we were in such a hurry. The meal lasted almost two hours; they took a very long time to serve us. The meal consisted of a small appetizer that was already prepared, and after a long wait, a first course which was a foie gras terrine with a small salad. How long does it take to plate prepared food when there are hardly any customers? The second course took much longer to arrive. It was a duck leg (which looked like it came from a can) with some cooked vegetables. While waiting, we drank three local beers. Dessert was a simple ice cream and a small portion of rather basic brie, both in quantity and quality. We had a coffee. The bill came to over 80 euros for two set menus, which we found extremely expensive, especially considering we live in Luxembourg City. In short, an unpleasant experience, starting with the rushed service, then the incredibly slow service, and finally, the exorbitant price.
