La Vieille Porte sur Sierck-Les-Bains

Excellent welcome, even though I was arriving at the end of my shift. We had a meal on the terrace, in the small inner courtyard at the foot of the ramparts. Remarkable value for money, and the service was young but very competent and dedicated! A pleasant surprise!

An address I would gladly recommend. Exquisite cuisine, delightful service, a historic setting – what more could you ask for?! Thank you to them for their professionalism and the quality of their service.

There was a long wait to receive my meal.

We've been to La Vieille Porte restaurant several times and we're never disappointed. The welcome is always warm, the dishes are delicious, generous, and prepared with care. The food is truly excellent in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and the consistently high quality of your cuisine! 🍽️😊

The food was very good and well-prepared. Unfortunately, a few details marred the experience: a hair on a plate and a dirty glass… (which can happen, we understand). Regarding the wine, the wine cellar could use some improvement in terms of the value for money of the wines offered by the glass. The price didn't seem to reflect the quality of the wine served. The welcome was adequate, but the waitresses lacked smiles and friendliness. Given the inconveniences encountered, a small discount on the bill would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is undeniably a strong point of the establishment.

Everything here is homemade: from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, not forgetting the mini financier served with coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from beginning to end. Fresh ingredients. The daily menu is excellent value for money. We will be back. Thank you for the delicious food and your kindness!

The menu was very competitive and of high quality. The service was friendly and efficient. The only downside was that no one offered us the food and wine list. We only had the set menu for the week on our table. What a shame! The dining room is pleasant, and the small terrace is lovely in the summer.

Great restaurant with a cozy courtyard. Huge selection of cheese. Highly recommended!
