10/10/2026: A truly magnificent experience! A warm welcome, impeccable service, and delicious dishes, carefully prepared and presented to perfection. Everything was excellent from start to finish, with a pleasant atmosphere that makes you want to return. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend! Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful time; we will gladly be back!

29/09/2026: €7 for a kebab, super tasty and loaded with meat. Much better than the competition, which is more expensive; a kebab alone costs at least €8 or €9 elsewhere.

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

05/09/2026: Great food, great service, great vibes. La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!
