18/09/2024: Voilà un restaurant comme on aime. Un estaminet dans son « jus » . Des plats cuisinés maison. Un bon accueil et service. J’adore ce genre d’endroit quand je viens dans les flandres. Profitez en c’est rare de trouver encore ce genre d’endroit. Bien sûr les plats sont très bons. Je recommande.
14/09/2024: Quand on entre, on se retrouve propulsé dans le passé… on peut passer des heures à admirer les décorations ! Nous avons très bien mangé (que dire du « doigt du douanier », 18cm de pur bonheur!), et les patrons sont très sympathiques et accueillants…. Bref, un excellent moment un dimanche midi, nous y retournerons avec les enfants !

24/01/2026: A very welcoming place with very friendly staff. Simple yet delicious food. A beautiful dining room with a lovely view, close to numerous hiking trails and the abbey. Reasonable prices, and pets are welcome.

18/01/2026: No! That was the rather blunt response to a request for a gourmet coffee on a Sunday at 2 pm because "it's reserved for the restaurant," like the tarts, etc. So, inaccessible to two hikers who had come to relax after a pleasant walk. No waffles either, because the machine was broken. In short, an unwelcoming place that makes you want to quickly find a nice, friendly café. Elsewhere

Restaurant Estaminet Centre

27/01/2025: While passing through the North, we chose to eat at the Estaminet du Centre. We 100% recommend this establishment; the staff is friendly and passionate. The food is generous and delicious. The selection of beers is incredible.
We will definitely return.
