26/08/2026: If you want to experience traditional food or have a good experience this is not the place to go. I think this is a good neighborhood place but not good food. For the same price with 2€ difference you can go to rue de gand to have great food and great experience. From service to the food, not recommended at all. Hope it improves cause its on a nice location and the potential can be big. Apologies for the honest review. Its not meant to shame the place but to give people an honest review and find ehat they are looking for which is a good experience.

30/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The food was delicious, the owner is very friendly, in short, a must-visit in Roubaix!

20/10/2025: I didn't stay overnight, I just enjoyed the restaurant, which served delicious traditional food and drinks from the area. It's highly recommended, with a lovely atmosphere and a great view.

07/08/2026: The advertisement advertised a night's stay for €48 that day in this supposedly 3-star hotel. Even just calling was a premium-rate number that connected us to an automated system... there, we were told it was €87 (but in reality, it would be €117 with the tourist tax) because the promotion was for a different hotel. Anyway, we booked breakfast (2 x €15) and parking (€9). It was actually the only hotel near a party we were invited to. We only dropped off our luggage in the very small room (which smelled strongly of paint). When we returned, the air conditioning wasn't working, and at reception, I was told that the air conditioning had been out of order throughout the entire hotel for several days! They lent us a fan to hold by the small window to cool the room (it was the middle of a heatwave). The next day, we asked for a discount, but received no response, just an embarrassed grimace. Breakfast was decent, but both coffee machines were either empty or broken. Workers are crossing the room and drilling is happening everywhere; the street is blocked by a huge crane truck...it's a joke...we don't recommend it

20/07/2026: Better air conditioning would be ideal; the hotelier kindly provided us with a fan, which allowed us to sleep well. Thank you to our friendly and attentive hotel staff for their warm welcome.

26/03/2026: Excellent experience, it felt like home. I received a wonderfully warm welcome from Charlotte, and her cooking exudes the comforting, home-style dishes that warm the heart. She's a smiling and lovely person, and it truly provided a light and relaxing break in my day, in a bright and comfortable setting. I highly recommend her restaurant.

13/12/2025: Portion sizes need to be reduced considering the price: three pieces of beef bourguignon were barely enough to compete on the plate, and the sautéed potatoes were undercooked and cold. It's a shame because the meat was tender... We left to have dessert elsewhere!

24/08/2026: Very disappointed. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered a chicken wrap, and without meaning to be harsh, it wasn't good at all. My wrap contained only overly salty chicken, a limp, cooked-looking vine of lettuce, and that was it—no sauce, no onion, no crisp lettuce, absolutely nothing. I don't recommend it.

03/07/2026: Friendly welcome, good price, but when you enter and leave the kitchen, wash your hands – that's the bare minimum.

06/09/2026: This Uber order is a complete joke! No dessert, and the sandwich wasn't even toasted, so the cheese wasn't melted, and the bread was awful. You should probably give your employees a talking-to because you can't forget to toast bread with cheese that's clearly not melted, just sliced, and then you add the vegetables!

06/09/2026: Not only did we receive the wrong order—just one 30cm sub instead of two complete meals—but frankly, given the preparation (not even toasted...), we're not even going to eat it.

12/07/2026: The waitress's attire makes Désiré wonder if he's really in a restaurant! Everything else is perfect: the couscous, the waiter, and the other waitress, but the other waitress's bare breasts seem to lack a bit of respect for the customers!

20/04/2026: I came yesterday at lunchtime with my friend to eat at the Meziane restaurant, the couscous is famous and delicious, we are very well served, merguez skewers meatballs chicken excellent, the staff as well as the owner are very kind, we will come back without hesitation and you can go with your eyes closed because it is the best oriental restaurant in the region.
