09/09/2026: A pleasant welcome, simple but good food.
02/09/2026: The service was poorly organized. We had to wait over an hour to be served, and even then, only after customers had arrived. Not a word of apology. So we just had the main course and got dessert and coffee elsewhere.

14/05/2026: Searched the town for a lunch venue, but most were serving 3 course set meals (on a public holiday). Had a very nice galette in here (choice of 8). Quick and friendly service.

01/08/2026: Camembert bread, one of the reasons to come to Vimoutiers! Everything is delicious at this bakery: breads, tarts, cakes, pastries, etc.
One of the best baguettes I've ever eaten. Looking forward to coming back and buying more!

23/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at Café de L’Équerre during our getaway to Normandy.
The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff friendly, and the lunch was delicious and well-served.
We highly recommend this place for a romantic break.
09/08/2026: We sat down on the terrace for a drink... we wanted to extend it with a meal... but there wasn't time, one of our two tables was taken: "Some customers want a table and you've finished your drink..."

21/07/2026: Showed up late without a reservation and was treated very well by the woman who was closing up shop. She happily rented a room to my friend and I with a pullout couch/cot (very comfortable) and a bed for him. Price was very reasonable, and the large french windows allowed my to sleep peacefully to the sounds of a rainstorm after a long day of travel.
23/05/2026: Attentive service, excellent cuisine, showcasing local produce.
A very good place to eat.
