Élodie, the owner, is exceptionally kind and welcoming. We felt like we were spending time with family, and the menus are always carefully prepared. We're from the Basque Country and we particularly enjoyed this Norman restaurant, which is well worth the trip.
08/07/2026: This is my second time here and the food is good and inexpensive. Aperitif, coffee, and set menu for €26 and €22 for two people. Perfect... We're on vacation, so even if dessert and coffee took a while, it didn't matter. The service was especially friendly.

14/05/2026: Searched the town for a lunch venue, but most were serving 3 course set meals (on a public holiday). Had a very nice galette in here (choice of 8). Quick and friendly service.

18/05/2026: Everything is excellent at this bakery. When we arrive in Vimoutiers, my husband and I go straight to this bakery. The atmosphere is really nice, the saleswomen and the owner are very pleasant. And if we had our way, we'd buy everything!

21/07/2026: Showed up late without a reservation and was treated very well by the woman who was closing up shop. She happily rented a room to my friend and I with a pullout couch/cot (very comfortable) and a bed for him. Price was very reasonable, and the large french windows allowed my to sleep peacefully to the sounds of a rainstorm after a long day of travel.

A very good place to eat.
