Le Soleil D'or sur Vimoutiers

Showed up late without a reservation and was treated very well by the woman who was closing up shop. She happily rented a room to my friend and I with a pullout couch/cot (very comfortable) and a bed for him. Price was very reasonable, and the large french windows allowed my to sleep peacefully to the sounds of a rainstorm after a long day of travel.

Attentive service, excellent cuisine, showcasing local produce. A very good place to eat.

Excellent local cuisine made with fresh ingredients; we enjoyed the roasted Camembert and the burger, both delicious. The staff were friendly and efficient.
