17/04/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We ordered a bottle of sparkling water: still water was served at the table. That's still somewhat forgivable! Next: I ordered a pizza: burnt crust… which can happen. But in the middle, a large hair was stretched across the mozzarella, which obviously ruined the meal. The scallopini were hard, and to add insult to injury… the owner berated us when paying the bill because we hadn't eaten the pizza with the "hair." And of course, no compensation whatsoever. A disastrous experience!

The welcome and service are perfectly balanced between a relaxed atmosphere and formidable efficiency. Comfortably seated on plush furniture, a welcome banquette, and enjoying the understated luxury of the elegantly stamped tableware, you can peruse a concise menu and a chalkboard offering a selection of classic dishes with a few variations—you're not here to explore reinterpretations. The dishes arrive quickly, and the result is a bold statement: generous portions, pure indulgence, and an abundance of flavor. Interesting touches like mustard sprouts or braised fennel enhance the precisely executed classics. The wine list, of course, boasts a wide and appealing selection. A timeless experience at a Parisian price point significantly more reasonable than many similar establishments; you'll leave wanting to return again and again.

16/04/2026: I want to raise awareness about extremely serious incidents at a restaurant that appears to be covering up and facilitating unacceptable behavior. At this establishment, young women are being pressured into drinking alcohol by the waiters and are being isolated in a private area upstairs. A man known to the restaurant, who is clearly receiving preferential treatment, is taking advantage of this situation to make sexual advances, even following women to the restrooms and attempting to coerce them into sexual acts without their consent. What is most shocking is that these actions are taking place in full view of the staff, without any intervention. This silence and complicity are unacceptable. This kind of behavior is serious and dangerous, and it must be denounced. No establishment should protect or tolerate such acts. I encourage anyone who has been a victim or witness to speak out, to protect themselves, and to report these incidents to the appropriate authorities.

11/04/2026: A warm, family atmosphere, truly reminiscent of restaurants of yesteryear... traditional and absolutely delicious cuisine. A wonderful discovery!

11/04/2026: Honestly? Disappointed 😞 The rare steak, while pink inside, was completely charred on the outside. The side dishes were too small for the number of guests. The waitstaff was overwhelmed; we ordered a bottle of wine with our meals, and it arrived long after we'd finished eating. Red wine with desserts? There are better options... And speaking of desserts, they were very disappointing: the profiterole choux pastries and the pastry of the coffee éclair were far too dry, and the chocolate in the profiteroles was strange (was it from a can of coulis?). In short, a very mixed experience, unfortunately...

23/04/2026: I ordered a Schwartz's burger with smoked duck breast, as advertised, but I got two tiny slices in the burger! I couldn't even taste it, given the amount! Why bother making a duck burger if you're going to use such a small quantity? The only positive point was that my steak was perfect! My partner ordered a smash burger, which had no flavor at all! It's a shame.

21/04/2026: Quick lunch at the end of service (2 pm onwards). The steak tartare was good and generous, no need to add any seasoning. The service was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Wine prices were reasonable. The clientele was mostly working people due to school holidays; there were few students.

22/04/2026: We'll keep a great memory of it! The guys were welcoming and very friendly, always smiling and kind; for that alone, they deserve a stop. Reasonable prices, delicious and generous pizzas, fast service, and a real desire to do things right—nothing to complain about. In short, it was a great experience during our stay in Paris! Greetings from Nantes! ;)

15/03/2026: Lovely neighborhood Sicilian restaurant, with a warm and calm space and friendly service. The food was simple and delicious, with high quality ingredients. From the cubes of focacciab style bread covered in a red sauce packing strong flavors (anchovies?), to the tasty arancini and then the simple but delicious Margherita pizza and the Sicilian spaghetti, beautifully al dente with a brinny but well balanced sauce, with olive oil, anchovies, capers and olives. Very nice wines by the glass as well, and honest prices. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: We ate here twice with Bolderman; the food looks like a Ping meal, not really tasty, and after the second time I got deathly ill on the return journey to the Netherlands. It was a hellish trip, food poisoning, just like many travelers with me. DO NOT EAT HERE

08/05/2026: Food is ordinary. The staff didn't understand and don't care. They can't speak English. I asked for vegan. They have no understanding. Gave food with eggs and some meat. If you are Indian, don't go for Thai food here. They don't even understand the green/red curry which is common in Thai food. It's a Paris localised thai restaurant.
